Each 2-ounce jar of this premium-quality and high-gloss Pro-Tec Powder Paint can cover 3,000 of 3/8oz jigs. It helps increase the glow properties of any fishing jigs or fishing lures within less than 20 minutes of painting.

DIRECTIONS:
Shake briefly to fluff paint. Preheat metal lures using a small torch, oven, or any flame for 4-10 seconds depending on size. Quickly swish into powder and remove, knocking off excess. The lure should be hot enough to melt powder within 2-4 seconds after removal. Let cool. For maximum durability, hang and bake in a preheated 350°F (176°C) oven for 20 minutes. Always pop out the eye before curing.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
1.) After swishing several jigs, the powder will settle. Shake or stir to keep loose and fluffy. Call for production methods using powder.
2.) Store in a cool area.

Answer: Chartreuse

Does this paint adhere well to tin split shot?

If we use your other glow color products already do we have to use the glow overcoat on top of the paint?

Answer: The jig has to be heated for the powder to melt and cure. The previous paint would probably melt or burn off.

Answer: No. U need to super-heat jig then dip. Better to remove all prior paint first

Answer: You must heat up the item you want to coat ! I doubt you can get the item hot enough without melting the old paint that you already have on it ! Can you remove the old paint first? I don’t think you will have any luck coating over it !

Answer: Yes, it may be a little bumpy if the paint bubbles

Answer: You can but it won’t stick very well therefore it won’t last. It’s best to strip that portion of the paint or sandpaper to bare metal.

Item never arrived dont know how to get refuned for item?

Why is it so expensive? I get 7 jars for $50 on ebay with free shipping. You guys are more than double the price per jar.

Answer: If you are getting 2 ounce jars of Pro-Tec powder paint at that price you are doing good. Amazon also shows sites where you can buy the paint at a lower price.

Why can i not find green chartreuse? Don't sale that color?

Answer: I wouldn't recommend it since you have to heat up the item before you apply the powder paint.

Answer: I don't know how it is going to hold up once used as I noticed it coming off when pressed into place. And it didn't seem to cover as well as expected.

Can this be used in a powder coat gun

Answer: I’d say no. I wouldn’t think the finish would hold up in normal use.

$16 for a 2 oz. bottle of powder paint? Really...$16? I have been using this powder paint for many years to paint fishing lures. At $16 for 2 oz it is priced about three times its market value. I started using this paint when it was about $3 for a 2 oz bottle.
