Will this box fit with the vest pocket?

Answer: It depends on how big your pockets are. It is a solid double sided fly box about 3x4x2. I do not like a bunch of stuff in my way when casting. So I tend to slip it into a trouser pocket and change flies on shore. But I know many people do like to be able to change things up and if the vest pockets are made with enough slack for a 2inch

When ordering I assumed that the flies would be mostly low quality but hoped some would be OK enough to use. Bought this item just for the case as I needed a little pocket size fly box for those quick trips to the creek. Box is great and exactly what I needed. Will fit in any of my jean pockets. I haven't used any of the flies that came in it but most of them seem cheaply made and I can twist the materials around the shank when pulling them out of the box. I am sure the fish won't mind but I wouldn't expect them to last long. The price was cheap enough that I consider them free with the box so I don't feel so bad about it. The box is small so be aware that you're not going to be able to fit a clouser on a size 4 hook but any bugger I have on a size 8 or less fits fine. It will fit any/all midge and nymph flies I have.

Transitioning from Idaho trout flies to Florida 'what ever they feed on' ;-) -- will be a moment but I am moving the IDs nymphs to the little box (this one) and keep running big ones for big flies.
