Are these dry or eet flies

Answer: Hi Chelsy - these are dry flies. The float really well right on the surface because they are made completely from materials that float (foam and silica) and cant get waterlogged like traditionally tied dry flies. They won't sit up as high on the water as a fresh, first-cast dry fly with a thick hackle, but that dry fly after a few casts, strikes, or getting dunked in a ripple will start to sink. These will just keep floating because of their material composition.

I am not familiar with fly sizes, which is larger? Size 6 or size 10?

Ultra-realistic hoppers that trout have not seen before. I use them as the secret weapon when the trout are pressured and hook shy, and they work well. I like to tie a size 16 or 18 bead head pheasant tail nymph in trail anout 10" amd that combo has produced lots of bites.

Very realistic also quite durable. I do a lot of backpacking and most of the lakes that I get to are not stocked. This means all natural fish that are very picky. Even the pickiest of fish will take a second look at them
