Answer: Please try to put the battery in different way.

Answer: The ones I purchased have a twist cap. To turn on you tighten the cap. Don't know if I have the same one you purchased.

Answer: About 0.5 second.

Answer: It’s water activated. When the two metal leads are in water the led is on. When the leads are out of the water the led is off.

Answer: It stops when it is dry.

Answer: No, it constantly flashes once it is wet & does not stop flashing until it is dry.

Answer: The circuit that turns these on is closed when put in water. I suppose it all depends on what your doing with them. But if they are submerged, there is no way to turn them off. At least that I’m aware of.

How do you rig these?

Answer: We use them when fishing for Halibut in Alaska. We attach them to a snap on the spreader bar. The spreader bar is "L" shaped, weight on one end, hook, hoochie and light on the other end.

Answer: One positive ends up, one negative ends up.

Answer: It contains 1 button battery.

Answer: I don’t know the Unit is self contained and water Activated when it drys it shuts down until it gets wet again. When they run out of juice you throw them out and get another. They last pretty long.

I already have several flashing LED strobes for deep dropping for swords was hoping these were continuously on, because it doesn’t state in the description of them, but they do work, so I gave 2 stars for my disappointment

I got 2 of these put the batteries and kept it on my boat for the next trip to Bahamas. Once I was in the Bahamas after they open to to tourist in November , I was disappointed to see when I open my bag to find both of the lights broken in the back . I will not recommend this to anyone. Not to mention it took 2 months to get them

These appear to be well made. The strobe is bright and they emit a blue light. I am sure they will lure many fish to hop onto our deep drop rigs.

First drop in 1800 FT for swordfish and both the lights fried out turned brown and where completely soaked on the inside. Poor design. The shipping took forever to. Giant waist of money. Buy diamond light products if your looking for REAL deep drop lights. Not these knockoffs.
