All 3DB Series lures have a patented ribbed belly that creates distinctive wave-motions and vibrations that fish can detect with their lateral lines from a long distance. The second impressive feature of the Yo-Zuri 3DB Series baits is the flash created by the 3D Internal Prism. An injured baitfish will swim erratically, sending out flashes of reflected light from its broadside of scales. The Patented 3DB Series duplicates this nervous behavior. Are they for fresh or salt water?

Answer: I intend to use this lure for salt water fishing, but I think you can try fresh water fishing too.

Answer: I do believe they are for fresh water since the hooks looks to be use only in fresh water, but let me tell you, this is a very efficient lure, I am glad to have it on my fishing box, I caught lot of bass with it, the color in the water is awesome and very good noise, if you need it for salt water just change the hooks and go for it

Does this catch striper fish???

Answer: If you work it well and the fish in question hits top water, it's gonna get eat my friend

Answer: It probably could but it is small for striper intended for freshwater bass

Most bites occur as soon as it hits the water. If not, the hits come shortly after I start my retrieve. A slow retrieve is all you need for the propeller to work. Excellent quality, with very sharp hooks.

Took 4 casts on 4th a 3 pounder hit like it owed him money !! Lure Kept bass on through 20 feet of pads pulling him in ! Would have posted pic but was standing on a rock In middle of water wasn’t reaching for phone lol

Don't compare this to other brands or even a whopper plopper. This Yo Zuri product is its own class. I love the prism effect, the great floating posture, as well as a noticeable sound (seems to be a higher pitch). Would work well for dark nights or stained water. You can work the bait several different ways. You can burn it, slow retrieve, zig zag, or (my favorite) side sweep. One spot that I try has very lazy bass. I found that when i let the bait sit for 30 seconds, I got more hits. I would sweep it, sit, and wait. I had a small bass absolutely T-Bone it twice on two different retrieves without biting. I didn't catch him but it will work. What an absolute rush. The prism gold black didn't work as well but the frog needs to be in your cart. Perhaps changing ponds/lake will yield different results.

Have them in 3 colors caught so many fish I usually don't need my other 6 rods.. keep an eye on the back hook after a while will come loose.. lost 2 hooks and props to big peacock bass. Amazing lures!!

Este señuelo es muy bueno, si bien esta diseñado para avanzar en linea, el sonido del chapoteo de la propela vuelve loco a los peces y se puede ver como lo buscar y se le avienta a mordidas. Hay que saber jalarlo a una velocidad moderada para sacarle provecho; otra técnica es con jalones bruscos y pausados, el efecto es el mismo que un pez correteado por otro y la diversión es garantizada. Un plus que me gustó mucho es que si solo lo dejas flotando, la corriente del agua mantiene la propela en movimiento; es un plus para sacar especies diferentes
