Disliked?? Try this-Listing specifically states that the smoker box " comes with 20 of it's own fire starters"-AND-take a look at the lower left front corner of the pictured ORANGE box where it says "20 fire starters included inside". Problem was when I went to use the smoker box Sunday with our 7 guests I found out there were no starters at all-NONE. Not fun or funny. The box worked as advertised, lots of smoke.

12/24/19-Am delighted to report that Smokehouse did ship me the fire starters the listing said I was to get and they work great. Seems they have changed the box (mine arrived in a BLACK box-different than the ORANGE one shown in the listing) and the new box does not state "fire starters included".
RE: The smoker box-Terrific unit-easy to use and puts out a lot of smoke. I used wood dry wood chips-will try pellets and then moistened wood chips next to see if there is any difference. Solid, quality unit built to last.

MY TIP-if you need fire starters, I bought Diamond Fire starters at the store-10 for $1.98+tax-broke them in half (to get approx. 6 min burn) and they worked very well. No idea what the smokehouse fire starters cost-are not listed on the site.
