This hanging scale works exactly as advertised. I tested it against two different kitchen scales and they all agreed on weights. So this is either quite accurate, or all my scales are off by the same amount.

The scale feels fairly heavy duty, and capable of holding the advertised 110 pounds. The blue backlight comes on automatically when the power button is pressed or when weight is applied while the scale is turned on. The tare button allows you to zero out the scale to weigh the contents of a container. Long-pressing the tare button allows you to lock in the weight of the empty container for repeated measurements.

The Unit button allows you to change the unit of measurement, and long-pressing the unit button actually enables a thermometer. It measures only in Celcius, but seems to report my room temperature reasonably well. The thermometer feature isn't mentioned anywhere in the ad, but it is mentioned in the instruction manual.

It's a nice hanging scale. I will try to add a picture below. I got this for free to test and review. If my opinion changes I will update this review. Thanks for reading!

Exactly what I was looking for to check the weight of my and my dog's hiking gear. Easy to use. Downsides are that the handle is kind of small and hook is a bit flimsy, which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

I bought this to weigh my pack when I go backpacking--I'm trying to decrease my pack weight and it was getting hard to do by eye and feel since it all just felt...well, heavy. This is precise, easy to connect to my pack, easy to hold from the top and very visible. I particularly like the back light, as I sometimes leave in the middle of the night and can make faster determinations of what to leave based off of weight as a result. Minus one star because it can't always get a quick read and hold the weight, especially with an awkward pack of 35 plus or minus pounds.

I bought with the intention of using for fishing. The hook is very small, and hard to use. The scale is perfect size to keep In your pocket, and it’s very easy to use. I would give 5 stars, if the hook was a bit larger.

After some use, I went to my local hardware store and purchased an S hook. And did a little bending a to make it more fish friendly.

Everything weighed twice as much as it actually did weigh. Completely useless product. Also, as with at lot of products coming out of China, whoever wrote the instructions was a first year English student.
