The grill arrived on time in pieces with the worst assembly instructions. It took two of us an hour and two beers each to put this together. Once we got it together we kept finding new areas of the grill that were either dented, bent, scratched, or missing paint. The grill has too many places for air and smoke to escape because the pieces don’t line up properly. This creates a challenge for temperature regulation. The fifty bucks I saved buy purchasing this grill does not make up for the labor involved and future headaches of using this. My advice is to buy a trustworthy and established bbq brand.

Raymond Michael T Kosick : Decent for First-time Smokers

I've never smoked before, and so this is my first smoker - figured I'd get something relatively inexpensive for my first year or so. Construction was easy enough but like a few others have said the doors don't close securely enough to hold in the smoke. I ended up using bungee cords to hold the doors closed, which seems to work a lot better. Also, because smoke does seep through the cracks fairly easily I've found myself going through almost 9lbs of charcoal just to keep the temps around 200 (barely) for maybe 3-4 hours. All-in-all, this is probably decent to use for 6-months to a year but once I start getting better at smoking I'll definitely look at upgrading.

Not the easiest to assemble and the assembly instructions aren't great, but I did assemble outdoors in 90+ degree weather, so some of the problem falls on me. This grill is perfect for what we wanted. It is not extremely strong and sturdy but will do for what we wanted. It is great for grilling and smoking. We may need to get a gas grill as well for times when we want to make something quickly like just a few burgers or dogs or a steak or two because you have to start the charcoal and wait its a little time consuming for when you want something quick.

Grill has worked great for our smoking & grilling needs. The chimney worked like a champ when we made liquid smoke.

This smoker does a good job of smoking meat. The smoker arrived damaged with several dents. While putting it together discovered several of the screws were not included. All handles have wooden covers which allows easy access except the firebox. The fire box door is not secure enough to keeps coals in and I just happen to notice red coals dropping out ( a design flaw). This wood be a great product if manufacture would invest and extra .25 cent to fix issues. but definitely fix the fire hazard.

Complete piece of junk. Cover does not close all the way, so smoke cannot stay contained within. Better for sending smoke signals than smoking food. Very cheap and lightweight. Seems as though it was intended for children to use as a practice grill, and that it's not actually intended to be used for real adult use. Seems like a joke, to be honest. List price of $200??? That is a marketing ploy. Do not buy this, there are far better products and values for similar money. I was able to get my money back from WalMart without actually returning the grill. Not worth time and even though i got it free, i won't use it. Best Choice products didn't send the grill when they said they'd shipped it, I called, spent lots of time tracking things down, finally got the grill sent, and it's not fit to be used for anything.
