Answer: The ones that came on my are titanium weights and the net works fairly well, I got this one because it was suppose to be easier but it still took a little while to get it down, i prefer the original still

What is the size mesh and the radius?

Answer: Mesh is 1/4 inches and radius is 4 feet. Very easy to throw and gets lots of fresh bait!

I wish i would have gotten a larger sized net, this one is too small, fish swim out from under it. I would give it 5 stars on easy to use though.. throws really easy and opens every time. Watch video, very easy to throw once you see it done. I use it to catch shiners in lake erie. It will catch some, but most can swim out before it falls as it the diameter is too small. Get the larger one, I got the smaller one as i thought it would be tough to throw,, but its sooooo easy,,

So cool. I suck at cast nets, period. I've always grabbed the weights in both hands and just swung the net out which is hard to get any good distance, i can't throw the standard way. With this net, I can wing it a country mile and sort of look like I know what I'm doing and not like a child.

JGravely : Throws easy but too small to trap fish often

I use this in Florida and love the way it throws. But, my son throws a regular full size cast net next to me and catches much more fish. This is just too small to trap most fish unless you land right on top of them. I think maybe it is made small since you have to hold it up w with one arm while most nets double up. I really would like this to work since it is so easy to throw.

Fish&dive : One major flaw

This net would be great if it had proper weights. I've been casting perfect circles with it but it sinks so slow that fish swim out of the way. And this is in only 1-2 feet of water. I rather throw a pancake that sinks fast and catch a couple of fish than a full circle that every fish avoids because of low sink rate.

I had never thrown a cast net before and the ones I had seen were intimidating. But the EZ Throw really is easy. After three or four practice throws I was getting nice casts and caught several small baitfish the first time out.

The net does cast a perfect circle, but it takes so long to get the net ready to use, that the bait is gone. it also sinks very very slowly with the ring on it.
for the low cost, i cut the ring off and just use the net.

BUYER BEWARE. These are 3' radius nets, not 4'. I have ordered three of them and sent them all back. I went to Cabelas and got a Fitec 4' radius that was actually 4' radius. This is a ripoff. Chinese crap. Still fighting to get refund.

The net seems nice and seems to be of good quality, however the reason why the video is free is because it doesn't work. Doesn't work on my laptop, doesn't work on a PlayStation, and doesn't work on a regular DVD player.

The net works well. My only complaint is the case. The net barely fits after you undo the factory perfect packing and the plastic cover doesn't securely pop onto the case body. If you carry it by the handle the cover comes off easily and the net falls out.
