What is the bag thickness?

Answer: .003"/.08mm thickness for the smooth side. The other side is textured and measures thicker than it actually is. When sealed the total thickness of both sides is .0065"/.17mm.

Where are these bags made?

Answer: China, but about 12 months ago! We have had them in our storage warehouse since then. We package and label them here.

Amazon Customer : Not comparable to Food Saver bags.

These bags don’t compare to food saver ones. They leak when you use them in a sous vide cooker. I won’t use them for water cooking or purchase them again.

I freeze a lot of things and use my zip sealer. The cost of the name brand bags becomes expensive and this provided a great alternative.
