I cast this last night and got a hit from small fish but was unable to bring her in. I will def use again. Happy with purchase.

I feel like reviews are spot on. In no wind it casts well. Because its long and light it wont cast into wind. With the wind and no wind you will do just fine.

Hooks are small and weak and should be fine for small schoolies. You can replace with a heavier hook and since all the action is in the tail I assume it wont damper action.

I will say I had major reservations about buying this cause its kind of "gimmickie". It's quality is matched by the price. Its far from bullet proof but I can't find any other hard bait eel lures out there for this price. Again, happy I purchased. I fish low tide for small schoollies and this will land them.

It is as advertised and is slow descending. I had great control reeling her in shallow water. I can def see this catching fish.

color exceeded expectations only things I'd say against it would be it's on the lighter side if casting in moderate to high wind even in the wash it struggles with distance. Good for schoolies but anything 30' will wreak havoc on the hooks provided.

The lure itself is good quality but the way they package it leaves a memory of twist in the connecting fabric, it straightens out over a few days of being laid out. The hooks are garbage as expected, hooked a 1-2 pound bass and immediately straightened out the hooks. The lip is almost like a jerk bait, it would do a lot better with a flat 90 degree lip like a wake bait. Overall very pleased for the price.
