do these come with salt all over them?

Answer: They are impregnated with salt, but don’t have salt all over them on the outside.

how long are the tenticles?

Answer: My best guess from memory is 1 1/2-2”

What type of fish would these be best for? I'm extremely new to fishing

Answer: These work best for bass. Both smallmouth and largemouth. You can rig them with a tube jig or Texas rig on a 4O EWG hook to go weedless.

Answer: These are for bass fishing. They might work for other fish as well but I use them whenough bass fishing

It was perfect and I used it as intended but the fish were not biting on it that day. Will try it again the next time with better results hopefully

I bought a pack of the dark (whatever) to try for Spotted Bay Bass here on the west coast. I have now caught more fish, of better size, on these than on any of the pricey salt water specific baits.

I think that I am going to simplify my arsenal to white tubes and dark tubes (and well a couple of other go-to's). I watched a video of a young guy catching big sand bass/calico bass one after the other on a white tube--that is how I got the idea of using these in salt. These fish love squid, and other critters that have wavy appendage, and they hang out close to the bottom.

Of course I first learned about tubes from guys who fished little else for large small-mouth river bass.

Good Item. Soft rubbery stretch. Does not tear easily. I can use it all day without repacing due to damage. Red fish and Snook do not tear it up. Sharks will. We use the size fish that you Northerners catch, for bait here (LOL).

Hollow body allows me add jell shrimp smell to the inside of these lures. Strike King makes good indestructible soft lures. Amazon prices are about half of what the stores are getting in my area (Fort Myers). I will buy more Strike King products from Amazon. I shall return.

I was skeptical about the whole coffee scented thing, and it may just be a gimmick, but these things catch bass! I'm a huge fan of Senko worms, but these tubes are just as good or better, depending on the conditions. I've noticed too that bass bite and really hang on. I like to rig them on a 4/0 hook and fish them weightless. I've gone through a whole bag on a good fishing day because the bass just tear them up!
