Is the spring Stainless?

Answer: It seems like stainless steel.No signs of rust after the work.And works good.

Can this clamp be solidly mounter to a plastic table? How many screws come with it??

Answer: I mounter mine to a plastic table and it is solid! I also bought stainless steel screws for it. I don't know if it came with any.

Answer: I don't see why not obviously you would have to drill the proper hole. screws do not come with it

Answer: mine came with no screws, i mounted it to wood with my own screws but plan on mounting it to a corian slab with the same wood screws.

Answer: Yes it sure can and come's with four stainless steel screws

Bought this clamp for a filet board I built for cleaning big fish like sturgeon. Used the filet board on a sturgeon (57") I caught last weekend and the clamp would not hold the skin during the filleting process. I will look for a different product.
