Questions about glass rattle 50 Worm Jig Fishing Lure Insert Tube Rattles Shake Attract Fly Tie Tying
Q:
What’s the length on the 3m?
Answer: Between 7/16 - 1/2 inch. Good for smaller to medium sized plastics. Tight lines.
Answer: 1.5 cm.
Q:
Can I pour lead over this? To make a rattle bucktail?
Answer: Yes I have made lots of spoons this way
Q:
How many of each size??
Answer: The ones I got were all 1 size, it was not an assortment. They did offer 2 different sizes, but they were all the same size. I hope that helps... Tight lines.
Q:
Do these float?
Answer: Depends on the size you purchased, the really small ones are slightly buoyant, the larger ones sink slowly...due to their weight.
Answer: They are in a sealed glass capsule so I suppose so. I have used them in top water frogs and they don't weigh them down or affect action at all if that is your question.
Q:
Is the medium size (4mm) the same length as the 3mm? It looks the same in the image..
Answer: No, slightly larger, the pictures are not the best depiction of relative sizes... the 4 mm I believe has an additional rattle ball... i have ordered each of the sizes an find they work well! I use the 3 and 4 mm for trout...
Q:
Do they work on grubs?
Answer: I guess if the grubs were big enough they might. I bought them and glued them to spoons they worked great for that.
Q:
,08 oz, why are your shipping rates so high ?
Answer: There has been a huge shake up in international shipping in recent weeks... costs going up!
Q:
What is 4mm * 16mm
Answer: It is approximate width by length. Approximately 1/4 inch diameter by 1 inch long
Q:
Are there 3 different sizes in the packages?
Answer: No all one size just right for top water frogs
Answer: Just one size
Answer: Only one size...
Answer: I think they were all the same . I left them in our Florida home and we're in Minnesota now . Sorry . BJ
Q:
what size is best for worms ,Roboworms, power worms etc?
Answer: The largest has the best rattling sound it has 3 balls but only best for large worms. The other rattle are not very loud but are easier to put in the worms. I usually use the largest but the can split the bait
Answer: Smallest sizes would be ideal for roboworms, Zoom trick, etc. I use the largest ones for senkos, Yum Swim digger, and Zoom ultra vibes. You have to work the rattle in slow & methodically as they will tear the soft baits. They crack often, but they do catch bass! Tight lines :)
Answer: Low quality glass and very fragile. Bass break them ever strike.
Q:
Whats the easiest/best way to put them in your senko?
Answer: You actually have a couple of options. You can insert it with the tapered end first into the side of the Sinko or worm about 3/4' to an inch behind the end of the bend of your hook. Or you can insert it straight into the end opposite of the end you have hooked. The easiest way is to wet the tapered end before you try to insert it which allows it to go in easier. Hope that helps. Catch a big one. Have a blessed day.
Answer: Each one has a pointed end to make insertion into soft plastics easier. Where you decide to place on your plastic bait is entirely your choice , usually near 1 end to give maximum sound.
Q:
How durable are these rattles? Intend to attatch to spoons for ice fishing.
Answer: As long as you are not banging them against the bottom rocks or banging them on the ice they should do fine. They are made of glass and they have a very loud rattle if you get the larger ones. The smaller ones of course have a little less volume, but they still have a nice rattle. Hope that helps, catch a bunch.
Answer: Oh hell no! Dont do it, these are very fragile, they break very easily, even when inserting into plastic baits, the larger sizes are better suited; the glass envelope is thicker..
Q:
Why was I sent an empty package?
Answer: Idk, I would contact the seller.
Product reviews of glass rattle 50 Worm Jig Fishing Lure Insert Tube Rattles Shake Attract Fly Tie Tying
KEO in SD : Five Stars
gotta have these little guys.
Pistol Pete : A+ Exactly what I wanted
The real deal rattle! I bought 3mm and 5mm . The 5mm is louder and fits perfect in 5' senkos and tubes. Must have.
Daniel Burns : Five Stars
As expected
JaW : Not good for fly tying IMO
I like everything about these rattles but I find them too hard to tie into the fly. These do not have the mushroom style head that helps lock in the thread wraps. The head on these are super small (I bought the 3mm and 5mm versions) and don't really have a spot to lock the thread in.
Richard A. Marble : Two Stars
smaller than I thoight, not much noise.
Marshall Morgan : great rattles
These rattles really make a huge difference between catching fish and just fishing.
st7 : Good price and quality is as good as the more ...
Good price and quality is as good as the more expensive options. As long as they stay the same price here I will continue to buy these over the other options in the big box stores.
Jesus Cervantes : Too many broke in transit
Way too many received broken. The ones that made it are exactly what i needed but even though i need more i can't risk ordering more.
Gramps : Will they work
I'll be able to try them in the spring....right now the ice is preventing their use.
PAHunter : Great idea -- too fragile
I used these to tie some saltwater flies. They are so brittle that even moderate pressure with the thread from the bobbin causes them to break. Can't imagine how they could possibly hold up to multiple casts or a fish.
mike t : Five Stars
Excellent.
Joel Bernier : Loud and clear..... under water
These have been amazing especially now, just before the spawn, when bass are most aggressive, the subtle rattles helps them home in on the bait!
Scott C : Five Stars
The product was just what I want.
Ellie J. : BAD EXPERIENCE
GLASS BROKE ON SEVERAL WHILE CASTING FOR BASS .
Marshall Morgan : great rattles
These rattles really make a huge difference between catching fish and just fishing.
Loren : Slivers and shards of broken glass! Extremely disappointed!
Extremely disappointing! They arrived in which 15 of the 50 were broken. I should have heeded the warning from other reviews concerning breakage.
WARNING: Be extremely cautious of the tiny slivers of broken glass when opening the package.
jeepgeep : Five Stars
Great rattles.
Lonny : Make some noise boys! And girls too!
Great for inserting into plastic craws for noise nuisance to the fish.
Puck : I had no idea what the size was...
Until I got these in hand. They are perfect for fly tying, so I plan to keep using them, and may buy more when I run out.
HornyToad : Deceptive
Hard to tell what size these are. Appears to be 3mm ball but actually 3mm housing. They appear to say free returns then say no not this size. Totally worthless. So small you need a magnifying glass to see them. What a joke this supplier is.
Lovin’ life ‘20 RJ : No
Tried these because someone wanted me to. Didn’t have any luck whatsoever.
Joel Bernier : Loud and clear..... under water
These have been amazing especially now, just before the spawn, when bass are most aggressive, the subtle rattles helps them home in on the bait!
A~DuB : Beat value for good rattles.
My favorite rattles to use on crawls or creature baits.
AFG : Great for that extra vibe!
Love these rattles, especially on windy summer days. I use the largest ones for senkos, Yum Swim digger, and Zoom ultra vibes. You have to work the rattle in slow & methodically as they will tear the soft baits. They crack often, but they do catch bass! Tight lines :)
Wayne Miller : Excellent product at an excellent price.
Great product. A few broken ones, but that's too be expected from glass rattles. Will more than likely repurchase
Smoke 1 : Right size

Great product
Marshall Morgan : great rattles
These rattles really make a huge difference between catching fish and just fishing.
David J : They work!!
I ordered both the 3MM and 4MM glass rattles, both arrived without a single rattle damaged! The packaging was very well done with the extra external and internal padding!
I got to test both rattles this past weekend and I outscored my buddies!! I placed them inside the Z-Mans, Zooms, Baby Brush Hogs, Senko worms and got slammed everytime. We started fishing at 4:45 am in near pitch black and I was already hooked up to 5 LMB in 1/2 hour, my other guys were still waiting for their first fish for the morning and didn't hook the first one till closer to daybreak!
It continued pretty much all day with the glass rattles inserted and tested some without and didn't get bit as quick. It got to the point where they started to ask me if they could try 1 or 2 rattles and guess what, they got bit quicker also lol.
Thank you for making a great product! I will be ordering more later in the season. You can't beat the prices either 50 pieces for what could cost you 10'x's for same amount of rattles from the tackle stores be it in store or online.

Leonard Medina : Good!
Great. Arrived all intact!! Works well for our applications.
BZ : Game changer
Many studies have showed that fish rely on sound and taste much more than vision. These rattles mimic the sound of feeding aquatic life and are proven to catch more fish when used the right way (I.e. the world record striped bass). I recently started using these in poured lead Bucktails heads. I was concerned that the sound would be muffled. I took it to a friend who is a sound engineer and was told the sound magnifies because of the hard surfaces within the rounded head. Should sound like a dinner bell to the fish I'm going after; and I like that prospect!
Dennis : These are great rattles to help get the attention of bass
I fish in a lot of dingy water. These are great rattles to help get the attention of bass. They work. I use a small phillips screwdriver to make a hole in a softbait. I insert the rattle and superglue it in. I then spray it with garlic scent to cover the glue scent.

Appears to be just what I expected.
