Best color for daytime lake fishing? I was thinking about the gator craw color?

Answer: Hard to answer. So many variables. However, I would go with black and blue and green pumpkin to start. Those have been the 2 most productive colors for me in Florida.

Best size?

Answer: Depends on your rod specs...normally 3/8 to 1/2 ounce, depends on depth and you're targeting!

Is .375 too light

Can you skip this jig easily?

Answer: I don't think this would be a good jig to skip, however, I do not have any light jigs like the person before me answered.

Answer: the lighter ones skip well

does it really weigh 1 lb?

Answer: NO. This is my favorite jig fir heavy cover.
