The Yo-Zuri 3DB Crayfish

A realistic crayfish lure that big bass can't resist!

The 3DB Crayfish has been designed as a slow sinking crayfish pattern, a forage favorite for Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spotted Bass. The design includes the patented 3D Prism Finish along with Yo-Zuri’s Wave Motion Technology. In addition to these features, each 3DB Crayfish includes a realistic prism egg sac with UV properties. The 3DB Crayfish has a jointed tail that articulates as the bait is fished as a jig, or slow swimming action, just above the bottom. The hook is held in strike position by a heavy duty cable weed guard.

The 3DB Crayfish has molded legs, which creates distinctive wave-motions and vibrations that, from a long distance, fish can detect with their lateral lines. This second patented feature of the Yo-Zuri 3DB Series of baits is the flash created by the 3D Internal Prism. This is slow sinking freshwater bait that can be fished as a swim jig or for flipping. The 3DB Crayfish has an jointed tail section that produces it's unique swimming action. The double hook is held in place by the wire weed guard and claws float up when the bait is sitting on the bottom.

Will this fish deep? Like 20 feet?

Answer: I believe it would but can't tell you for sure because I cast it out and snagged and the line broke and I lost it on the very first cast and was not able to retrieve it.

Is this the price for one lure?

Answer: Yes sir you just get one lure

Will they work in saltwater?

Answer: You can use them but I don’t think they’ll work in saltwater

Does the Prism Luminous glow in the dark?

Answer: Yes it does glow in the dark. There is also a sticker on the package that its in that states Glow.

Where is the recommended place to fish with this lure

Answer: I haven’t had any luck anywhere with it :(

Answer: Depends on the lure. I just got 2 crayfish slow sinking lures and the bodies are hard plastic but the pinchers are like a type of rubber. Most are a hard plastic though and worth every penny in my opinion.

has a good action, medium buoyancy stays near the bottom with the rite tension but wont hit the bottom if you get it right with a little practice. haven't cought anything on it yet but the little bass do chase it.

the rubber claws sitting in the tackle box got out of shape, meaning they now bend to the right and so far aren't bending back. put it boiling water to soften them up and stretch them out so they stick straight out.... it's getting there.

It looks cool, but unfortunately, it never got any bites. I've seen youtube videos of anglers getting frustrated with the hook placement and getting lots of missed bites. The weed guard sucks, got snagged on vegetation and small twigs often. I ended up losing it to a log 3ft directly under me and I was gently finessing it. I tried for 3 sessions to get something to bite it. My other rods with a senko/jerkbait would immediately get a bite in the same locations which broke my heart because I wanted this thing to be my wildcard. So, although realistic in look and fall, it just wouldn't get bites. I yanked really hard on that log and the bait didn't break, so rest assured, it can withstand 15lbs of pressure.. I gave it a neutral rating, maybe I should try a different color, but for 10 bucks, I think 1 try was enough.

A great lure. The best retrieve is "jigging" it off the bottom. Let it sit, drag it a bit, and then rip your rod tip up for about 3 feet. Repeat.
