product description
The new 3DB baits from Yo-Zuri have two features that Catch Big Bass. The internationally patent pending 3D Internal Prism and Wave-Motion Vibration spark an instant bite response. All 3DB Series lures have a patented ribbed belly that creates distinctive wave-motions and vibrations that fish can detect with their lateral lines from a long distance. The second impressive feature of the Yo-Zuri 3DB Series baits is the flash created by the 3D Internal Prism. An injured baitfish will swim erratically, sending out flashes of reflected light from its broadside of scales. The Patented 3DB Series duplicates this nervous behavior. The natural patterns combined with the lifelike body shapes and attention to detail on gills, fins and scales creates a strikingly realistic looking baitfish. Add to all these features, large Injured/Dying fish "Redeye" on all 3DB styles, makes these the target for game fish to eat. All have premium components; Black Nickel split rings and Round Bend Black Nickel Hooks.

Questions about Yo-Zuri 3DB Popper Floating Lure
Q:
Is it heavy enough to use on a 12’ surf rod using 50lb test braid?
Answer: You’d want a bigger one than I got. I use mine for bass 8 lb fluorocarbon freshwater
Q:
can these catch bass if you dont have shad ?
Q:
Is this a saltwater popper?
Answer: It is small so best for fresh water, bass love it. I suppose you can try it saltwater tho for smaller fish but that’s not what it is made for. There are bigger plugs available for saltwater
Answer: Yes sir, I use this popper for strippers & bluefish primarily. It works best at dawn or dusk, usually best results when it's a calm day.
Answer: It’s a 3” or so red breasted minnow. I am sure a salty would bite it if that’s what they eat. I think this lure is intended for fresh water species. IMHO hope this helps.
Answer: I I have found that do far all fresh water plugs will also work on salt water, however salt water fish like a much faster plug! This is a fresh water plug. Or can be used in spillways with split weights attached in front of lure,. Have fun
Answer: I use it in salt water and still keep it! ????????
Q:
how deep is swimming depth? and what is the length?
Answer: considering that this lure is described as being a floating popper, I would think that, a priori, this lure stays on the surface. there are 2 sizes, but I think u are too stupid to be using lures! stick to worms!!
Answer: It is a FLOATING lure,it moves on top of water , i dont have it in front of me but its about - 3 inches long ,it floats
Answer: Does not dive, sits on top of the water and you pop it works very well with a unique sound.

Albert Zhang : High End Professional Grade Lure
Very high quality product. The details on it are amazing. Very good f&f. This will be the brand I spend my money on from now on. Very satisfied!
Wolf : Prueba con otro
Los anzuelos sufren mucho en agua salada, cambialos inmediatamente.
Se popea mejor con un 3D Inshore pero este no se queda atrás
David L. : I would give it 0 stars
The description clearly says 5/8oz. The lure is actually 3/8oz. It says 3/8 oz on the lure!
Monster Trophy Catfish : This lure works great.
This lure works great. We did replace the cheap treble hooks that came with the lure with stronger and sharper ones. We will be buying more of these in different color patterns in the near future. Solid 5 stars...
D. Tanner : Not bad
This damn thing hasn't caught a fish yet! But it's probably my technique :)

Their Leopard Frog popper is the best.
M : Great quality and price
Awesome popper lure to have in the tackle box, I've gotten stuck on some kelp beds and after pulling on it it flew out the water and smashed very hard against the rocks and wasn't damaged at all! Great quality!
Eddie Ruiz Patron : Buen popper.
Buen producto casi no lo he usado pero el primer dia me dio un jurelito, se puede lanzar con variedad de cañas.
I finally landed the fish I'd been targeting for over 10 weeks. On a Yo-Zuri popper bait with skirt. Said elusive chunk of a Largie actually slammed that bait like a freight train, while my line was cast over an overhanging tree branch 15 feet up and 15 feet over the water. I was bank fishing.
That lovely gorgeous fish was fat and healthy. Enough to eventually, quickly - snap the branch so I could pull her in. Eventually, as in, there were several handle cranks worth of slack in my line when she smashed it. I have no idea how many, I was somewhat freaking out. Seemed like forever I was cranking to recover tension. So, good hook size+quality. Once tension occurred, it was two airborne, tail skimming leaps, and one bolt toward bottom, that snapped the branch, fish still on. I wanted to upload video of the branch, a piece of which is still on my line/pole which is in my car. I normally don't keep my poles in car, but it's Winter, and presently cool in there. Only one video per review allowed, tho'. Now, I think the vibro ridges on the 3D baits might actually be based on science because I hardly moved the bait at all, and never made it "pop" before she hit it. Most of the time the lure was moving toward shore due to wind, while I used a different pole. Given stained 2' visibility of the water, I think the vibro ridges on the bait, despite purely super slow wind generated drift motion, caused enough vibrational signal amplitude, *at the ideal frequencies* causing her to track into visual range of the bait. The UV spectrum glow of the skirt probably only helped trigger her automatic Eat-THAT response. Again, 2 foot visibility. Water temp was 52°F surface, 1.5 days post cold front, blue sky, cove in shadow, 10-20 minutes before sunset. Latitude in the Lake Allatoona area of Georgia, US, January 5th, 2020.
The designs, thoughtfulness, research+development, plus quality of materials and manufacturing consistency, with tight tolerances, imo- put Yo-Zuri on top of the supreme.

Mark Paton : Nice action in the water
Puts up a good splash
Tactical Buyer : Must have for your tackle box
Great price, beautiful colors
Dwood : Great popping action and excellent colour
Used these on bass in Ontario in the leopard frog and perch pattern and both worked excellent. Had mixed responses from fish sucking in the lure like a vaccuume from below or exploding on the surface. Lure throws a lot of water or can be worked more subtly. Will purchase more of these in the future.
