The new 3DB baits from Yo-Zuri have two features that Catch Big Bass. The internationally patent pending 3D Internal Prism and Wave-Motion Vibration spark an instant bite response. All 3DB Series lures have a patented ribbed belly that creates distinctive wave-motions and vibrations that fish can detect with their lateral lines from a long distance. The second impressive feature of the Yo-Zuri 3DB Series baits is the flash created by the 3D Internal Prism. An injured baitfish will swim erratically, sending out flashes of reflected light from its broadside of scales. The Patented 3DB Series duplicates this nervous behavior. The natural patterns combined with the lifelike body shapes and attention to detail on gills, fins and scales creates a strikingly realistic looking baitfish. Add to all these features, large Injured/Dying fish "Redeye" on all 3DB styles, makes these the target for game fish to eat. All have premium components; Black Nickel split rings and Round Bend Black Nickel Hooks.

great speckle trout bait for upper Texas coast. tracks & glides effortlessly, sophisticated design, weight and rattle. better bait for subtle presentation in calm, glassy water. translucent green was best producer, followed by prism silver. black & silver, bone, prism clown.

Pros: great action, loud single knock sound, great casting distance and good colorways

Cons: smaller version misses a lot of bites (unless retrieved really slow) not versatile

I’ve had great results using this bait primarily during the fall. As many anglers know, in the fall top water baits shine; especially in fisheries with baitfish that spawn during this time.

This bait has a great single ball knock that literally calls fish. I’ve had success pinning down 4.5lb fish on down to fingerlings no bigger than the bait itself, but I’ve missed a lot of bites due to the size.

If your thinking about purchasing this bait I’d consider getting the longer version of this as well. Retail the two sizes are the same price but I’ve found more success with not missing bites.

This bait can not be skipped and I would not recommend tossing to close to lay downs and other snagging structures although if your fishing from a boat you can easily unhook.
