Answer: The package describes the colors as New Penny/Natural Shrimp/Pearl White/Molting. The Pearl white worked well on Lady Fish. The natural worked well with Flounder.

are they really alive

Answer: No they are plastic and are immersed in Berkleys secret sauce.

Answer: Yes and they are delicious with garlic and butter.

Answer: No, not really alive. Just look very similar to live shrimp, and are immersed in "Gulp's" solution, which has 400 times the scent of real shrimp, thus, provoking a fish to be more likely to "gulp" this shrimp so you will hook it!

Do these work well for flounder ?

Answer: They work great for flounder everywhere. Both Atlantic and Pacific (Puget Sound) flounder year these up. I normally run them in 12-18’ of water behind a 1/4oz chartreuse jig.

Answer: I heard they may, but I use them for Trout and Red fish, which they do. I use live shrimp a BB do are you ready... A piece of raw bacon for flounder.

Answer: This product was packaged in an oblong clear container when I bought them. I see that the new inventory is in a round container. I'm sure the product is the same but you may get a different container depending on the age of the inventory.

Answer: There are 2 types of this particular product. One is marked and sold for saltwater only. Make sure you buy the other.

Answer: For inshore fishing for redfish or trout I use a 1/4 oz. jig head under a popping cork. The depth of the water, current, and what your fishing for dictates what weight jig head you use. Hope this helps!

Answer: We use them in the Potomac river for catfish. That’s is why I was so disappointed they changed the formula. The bait is very soft now and doesn’t stay on the hook well. But it’s magical on those cats.

Fish, crab, heck even eel love this thing. It doesn't have much swimming action, but that scent seems to be absolutely irresistible for ocean critters. I sometimes go as far as sticking 1 or 2 in a crab pot to soak, as like the secret bait!
But yea, just throw it on a jig head and you're good to go! Bounce it around slowly, and fish will even come out of their hidey holes to strike it. Its pretty durable as well, standing up to eels tugging & ripping at it non-stop. These shrimp waaaaaay out last the , which can't seem to handle more than 4-5 fish before being torn apart.

so far loving gulp products. they strong and hold for a while on the jig. very strong smell..and flavor (i'm guessing not that i tried them.....)fish devour these, even the pieces fish goes for it. Some people claim package leaks so i keep mine in a ziplock just in case but so far holding fine.

I cannot yet comment at the performance of these shrimp. However, the product, as delivered looks nothing line the picture advertised. I received a squat, oblong plastic container, rather than the bucket with a handle that is shown. I am not sure if the quantity is the same, so a bit disappointed at what I was sent.

First, Gulp baits work great. Flounder, drum and trout love them. I have no problem with the baits. My problem is that it's advertised by the seller as the Gulp Alive Bucket, but like most other buyers, I got a smaller container with about a dozen baits in it. The buckets they are showing contain more, so the price per bait comes out pretty high. I would not recommending buying for this seller.

Confirmed. This stuff works great for rockfish. I went rockfish boat for three times, I beat live bait and squid. Especially black shrimp works. Gulp is stinky but much better to deal with live bait.
