Answer: not really sure, I think the normal 120 volt. I don't recommend this tho, after a few uses the battery stopped charging right and you can't buy a replacement for it.

What is the difference between the Berkley TEC Cordless knife and the ABU Garcia Berkley turbo Knife

We received this knife on Jul 8th and loved it, but on our 6th fish the blades have stopped moving. We can't use it. What do we do now?

Answer: I've filet 12 med sized bottom fish and noticed that battery was slowing down during the final cut. Be sure that you have it fully charged before using it for the first time? Also works best when holding the knife still and pulling fish into it.

Worked great, but after having a problem with the trigger, I realized that there is no warranty ???????? Wow ! I never even give it a thought when I ordered it. I ASSUMED a company like Berkley whould stand behind their products for at least a year. Live an learn. I alway LIKED berkley products, but now I'll shop around.

B. Drutar : The best Cordless Fillet Out there

Used this for over a season of Saltwater fish filleting, Mostly Redfish. Trout, Pampano, & Snapper, up to 28". It is a very good cordless fillet knife, I know of none better on the market currently. That said it does have some minor problems, sometimes the blades come out, the blade could be longer, it is not as powerful as an electric, but for me the cordless feature more than makes up for it, I've done maybe 3 tx limits of redfish before the battery finally dies, which for you non texans, thats 9 redfish most right up there in 24" to 28" range. I've recommended this to most of my fishing partners. No battery problems on my knife. Good Luck!

Great fish filleting system. It is comfortable and easy to use. Make short work of filleting fish. The one thing I learned is that the fish must be close to the edge of the work surface or the handle tends to tilt the blades. Once you accomplish this you get really good filets, leaving very little meat on the carcass. The battery lasts for a long time and recharges quickly.

This electric knife will not fillet a walleye that is 18 in or bigger. Will not cut through the rib bones. I have tried letting the knife to the work and I have tried applying a little pressure. This electric knife is very disappointing. I would not recommend it whatsoever.

Very low powered. Motor wants to die while cutting through a large mouth bass. I do much better with a regular fillet knife. Then when I was done I could not remove the blades to put everything back in the case it came in. I thought I would really like this one with all the power options, but its getting returned.

I bought this knife for use in the home for craving roast, turkey, etc. The knife has some weight to it which leads me to believe the gears are made of mettle not plastic. After reading other reviews on other electric knifes I settled on this one for a kitchen knife the cord is no problem for this. If I was going to fillet fish I would have got the battery one.

WOW! Way To Go Berkley!!! I have purchased four Rapala fillet knives (for the company I work for) and regret every one of them! The Berkley TurboGlide is WAY BETTER! It has an easier pull for the trigger / The Rapala kills your finger after a couple of minutes. Easier blade release / Rapala blade release breaks and forever holds onto the blade sticking dangerously out of the carrying case. Shall I go on? You get the picture...

Bought this for my husband for his birthday in January. Have used it three times to clean fish and it has broken. The blades do not reciprocate properly. We just had to order a new one. Will definitely try a different brand.

I purchased this knife in March and used it for the first time in May, it was fully charged and could barley go through a 16" Walleye. Don't waste your money on this product. Purchase a 120V model. Amazon will not take the product back because it has been over 30 days so I am hoping Berkley will help me under their warranty program. I have to say I am a little dissapointed in Amazon, I have spent over $10,000 with them in the last year alone, you would think for a loyal customer they would make an exception to their return policy.

The knife works, the two blades are nice touch, especially when you are cleaning smaller fish. I have yet to find a electric fillet knife that seems to handle large volumes of fish and this one has some nice features but falls short on others.

1.Ergonomic handle and sharp blades are certainly a plus
2. "Cigarette" Light attachment is great
3. Nice carry case, although the amount of foam makes repacking a little difficult
4. Before long I developed a short in the cord, I was able to replace the end and it worked.
5. Part of the motor mount is plastic and the motor torque managed to break the plastic. I was able to replace with a metal screw, but not a great design idea.

We really love this knife. Our son got this for my husband and we in turn bought one for our son-in-law as we loved the knife so much. Cordless is the only way to go when you are trying to fillet those slippery fish. No cord to unplug or restrict your movements. Recommend this to anyone in need of a fillet knife. You pay a little more, but it is worth it.

Do not purchase this knife. Only comes with the 1 battery and you cannot find a spare battery ANYWHERE. My husband bought this back in March after it was recommended by a friend and unfortunately did not use it until end of Sept.
