Answer: not really sure, I think the normal 120 volt. I don't recommend this tho, after a few uses the battery stopped charging right and you can't buy a replacement for it.

We received this knife on Jul 8th and loved it, but on our 6th fish the blades have stopped moving. We can't use it. What do we do now?

Answer: I've filet 12 med sized bottom fish and noticed that battery was slowing down during the final cut. Be sure that you have it fully charged before using it for the first time? Also works best when holding the knife still and pulling fish into it.

A bit on a heavy side but works good

absolute junk. Couldn't even make it through the first 22 fish i had. Motor had no power and halfway through it would over heat and practically stop working. By far the worst electric knife i've ever used. Saving grace would have been the blades fitting into my Storm base but i couldn't even get that lucky.. Threw the junk in the trash

I bought this knife for use in the home for craving roast, turkey, etc. The knife has some weight to it which leads me to believe the gears are made of mettle not plastic. After reading other reviews on other electric knifes I settled on this one for a kitchen knife the cord is no problem for this. If I was going to fillet fish I would have got the battery one.

The knife works, the two blades are nice touch, especially when you are cleaning smaller fish. I have yet to find a electric fillet knife that seems to handle large volumes of fish and this one has some nice features but falls short on others.

1.Ergonomic handle and sharp blades are certainly a plus
2. "Cigarette" Light attachment is great
3. Nice carry case, although the amount of foam makes repacking a little difficult
4. Before long I developed a short in the cord, I was able to replace the end and it worked.
5. Part of the motor mount is plastic and the motor torque managed to break the plastic. I was able to replace with a metal screw, but not a great design idea.

Very unhappy with this product. It simply has no power. Once the blades touched the meat, they would not cut, stopped moving and lost power. Unfortunately we missed the window of opportunity to return this item. We were unable to remove the blades. Even trying to wrap the blades in a thick towel, pressing the release buttons and both of us trying to pull the blades out of the holder. Threw the whole thing in the trash and retrieved our old filet knife. We kept the carrying case for our old filet knife which did not have one, so not all was lost.

The Berkley Deluxe Electric Fillet Knife (BCDEFK) lacks quite a bit of power. Filleting through crappie wasn't the easiest. Had to let off trigger and engage again to finish filleting. Needs more power!!

This electric knife will not fillet a walleye that is 18 in or bigger. Will not cut through the rib bones. I have tried letting the knife to the work and I have tried applying a little pressure. This electric knife is very disappointing. I would not recommend it whatsoever.

I purchased this knife in March and used it for the first time in May, it was fully charged and could barley go through a 16" Walleye. Don't waste your money on this product. Purchase a 120V model. Amazon will not take the product back because it has been over 30 days so I am hoping Berkley will help me under their warranty program. I have to say I am a little dissapointed in Amazon, I have spent over $10,000 with them in the last year alone, you would think for a loyal customer they would make an exception to their return policy.
