What is the diameter if this spool... I am making an 80 on draw sling bow and need to know the diameter for the design

Answer: HOwdy. Spool forward diameter is 4 7/8 inches, rear diameter is 5 3/8. overall thickness is 2 inches. Thank you , Shawn

Answer: Mine was a 5 inch diameter wheel, about 2 amd a half inches thick. Be sure to buy stronger line.

how does this mount? any pics?

Answer: not done it yet but I was going to fabricate a claclamp

Answer: it is plastic, diameter is about 4 inches

Can u attach it to a recurve bow if so how

Answer: Three Rivers Archery sells an insert for recurve bows. Easy to do if you take your time and step up your bits as you go along. Use JB weld to secure.

Answer: HOwdy, can use your threaded hole for your stabilizer. If your bow does not have one you will have to be creative and rig up a bracket to hold the reel

Answer: Yes but It has to have a threaded insert for a stabilizer to work.

Answer: Yes, and I just found an old bracket, I think it was off a ceiling fan, and it worked.

It's good

Mountain Man Jack : Possible death trap.

With dry string this works some what. Arrow's range is shortened by at least 50% than when the string is just on the ground. Had an arrow come back at me today when the string did not come off the reel. I make sure to wind the reel so that the string is very neat like that found from a factory spool... This thing still kicks arrows. I shot at 17 fish and missed every one of them....... Used my buddies bow setup and things went much better.
