Answer: Under certain conditions they will but they are not top feeders. Usually they feed at lower levels.

Answer: I mainly fish for largemouth bass with this, but also have caught northern pike, large smallmouth I imagine would also hit it, but I haven't used it in smallmouth areas.

Had many strike's!

Finally got this double buzz wet. Caught em all morning, mid day, then went back for a night season. It makes a racket and those bass were triggered! Best party about this bait is I didn't miss one fish. Trailer hooks are key. You can retrieve as slow as you want and it'll stay up. I use a black swim bait trailer. It'll even skip. Buying a back up just in case.

I haven't fished since my late teens and just got back out this year after 25 years so I figured I would take a chance on this and see what all the fuss was about with spinnerbait. Best money I've ever spent on a lure....just fishing off a dock in 2-4 feet of water and have had many solid strikes and many small mouth of all sizes. Can't wait to try this when I can get in a boat and get at those hiding spots.

ZachMac : Great lure... too big for average fish...

Gets to the surface FAST! and allows you to run the lure much slower than single blade designs HOWEVER the presentation of this lure appears much larger than the single blade design and my personal experience has been that I get more fish on the single blade because of this.

Gravity's Gone : Almost Like Cheating for Catching Small "Buck" Bass

This buzzbait is a quality made product. The arm is heavy-duty wire which should prove to be very durable. This bait tracks extremely true, and can be fished very slowly. The ¼ oz version is good for catching some of the smaller “buck” (male largemouth) bass around boathouses and shoreline structure for some late evening summertime fun. You really need to fish it on lighter line to throw it well (10 lb mono works pretty good), and you are not going to make extremely long casts with it anyway. If you are looking for something to cover a lot of ground, you definitely need to go with the heavier version to get any big casting distance, but I do highly recommend the small ¼ oz version for those looking for some “fun” fishing, though.

Great top water lure, always getting a strike, brought one bass in last week while out for 30 min.
Problem is, these are heavy, you snag the line on a cast, and you will see the buzzbait fly away.
Found these cheaper at Bass Pro shop, that is where I will buy my replacement.

TIM TROTTER : love it but one problem

I love the commotion n noise the twin blades kick up, but I have a problem with the blades cutting my line. I use light line and this happened several times with the result being me watching the lure sail beautifully long into the lake. I usually start top water while it is still dark and this lure really gets the bass' attention. Caught some very nice ones with it, 18"+. I wish the line cutting problem could be fixed bc I would use this buzzbait constantly. But I cant afford to be buying mass quantities of this bait every few weeks and I'm too lazy to check and retie my line every few casts.

Fossilfiction : What I wanted

I don't know if I will catch fish on it yet but I do know that the product is has described. Adding a trailer to this is risky. I stabbed three fingers but it that is on me.
