Answer: I don’t remember.

Will the handle fit in a rod holder?

Answer: It should fit in rod holder. Handle is approx 1.25 in diameter.

Answer: It’s probably around an 1.5” in diameter with the handle cover or end cap id say the diameter of the handle itself is around 1.250

Answer: Not a clue. I've had mine for 2 years + and haven't need the warranty.

Answer: Without measuring id say 60-65 inches. Again I’m not beside the boat. But this hides right under my fishing net. Never once has it gotten in the way. Will save you $$ ! Just don’t consider it a push pole substitute !

Answer: When fully extended it is 15' long. I have not measured the collapsed length but 77" seems about correct.

Answer: That sounds about right. Just under 5 ft plus the end screw.

We keep this in the boat for the occasional errant cast into the woods, rocks, or hidden crevice. It has more than payed for the replacement costs of the snagged musky lures it has rescued

I would recommend a little WD40 at the pole's extension points to ease extending and retracting the retiever when you have to move quickly to save that special bait.

Heavy and sturdy. I bet if things went really bad and you needed to get a rat-l-trap out of your buddy’s tail end, this would do the trick. Hope I never end up in that situation, but I’m ready if that day comes.

I think this may be a bit over designed. My previous telescoping lure retriever (at least 25 years old) was much light (less than 1/2 the weight) and much thinner. It lasted for 25 years in hard use. This one is much larger in diameter and heavier in weight. That said, it is really rock solid. If it were a bit lighter I would give it 5 stars.

Heavy duty, but also kind of heavy. Works great on lures hung underwater (already saved enough on lures to pay for it) but heavy when reaching out to retrieve a lure hung on the shore. Fits in my rod box. No regrets about buying it.

this thing is super sturdy and built like a tank. if I get bored fishing, I could go bear hunting with it. anywhoo, please note, I got the longer version, so it doesn't easily fit in a rod locker. so you need to think about that before purchasing. if you save 3 crankbaits, this thing pays for it self.

I was able to retrieve at 6 lures and lost 1 lure since I purchased it. The one lost was beyond reach of the 15' retriever. Otherwise, I could save my lures, mostly on bank firshing and a few on boat.
This product works. Even for the cheaper tackle type, like worm hook and soft plastic. It saves time saving it and by not having to retie the tackle, which results in more time in fishing and keeping the lure wet.

I’ve had this for just a few months now, it has saved me more than I spent on it in saved lures. It has also let me retrieve free lures that other anglers have left in trees. One unintended plus is, I have also been using it to clean up fishing line I’ve found in trees, and on the banks of public fishing ponds.
