Why are these triple the price of Bass Pro?

Answer: Must be regional price because these are cheaper than my bass pro

Uhh I'm trying to figure out what hook to use with this soft bait. I'm gonna try to use them for Bass fishing what size would you recommend ? 1/0 ?

Answer: I use a 1/8 lead head minnow with a 1/0 hook, I get the heads from Acadamy Sportsnthey come 4 to a pack for about $1.99 they come with a white head with red eye or in silver

Answer: I typically use a snell size 5 hook with a baitcaster reel on a 6lb line. Ive had huge success with this setup

I started using this bait in saltwater around Corpus Christi Tx.When the speckled trout are biting they cant resist this bait. I rig it in tandem about 18 apart with a 1/4 oz jig on the bottem and a 1/8 in in the upper location,its not unusual to catch a double this way, and be ready, the Reds will surprise you too along with the Flounder,I use 10lb.big game with 12lb fluro_carbon leader. These bait fish soft jerk baits in this color continue to be one of my best producing baits. I have tried numerous other 3" bait fish jerk baits and they just have not produced like these. Not sure why exactly because several of them have great action and I feel like they should produce just as well. I forget if any of the others are salt impregnated but maybe that is a factor. Maybe it is the fact these are a little smaller than the others? Who knows.

But whatever it is these just work and they continue to be my most used plastic lure because of it. They have great action on a small jig, but weightless is my favorite way to use them. Casting distance is limited but the action they give weightless is unique to that application and I like it the most because it works for me. Very simple circle hook through the nose. Nothing fancy. I like to add a little scent to them and they are good to go.

I use a donkey rig (double fluke rig) with these to immitate a small school of shad/mullet. Dinner bell to any bass, saltwater trout or redfish.

If you really want to kill with these...
Rig a double fluke rig. I pit a normal super fluke about 2 foot down from the swivel then i put on of these about 1.5 foot down from the swivel.
Use one of those little drop shot hooks but i also take a small twist lock that i shrink wrapped the eye of ( so it doesnt come off the hook) and twist one of these bad boys on. It makes it look like your super fluke is chasing a tiny fish and we all know how bass are competitive. They will slam this little guy!
Oh and fish it weightless!
