Answer: Good for bait fish, but the quality is bad. My net already has a few holes, my is minimum used only 6 or 7 times. I try to look for other brand.

Why is the same cast net only $37.54 at Walmart?

Answer: Different materials, this net sink faster than the one in Walmart.

Tip DS : Not impressed

It's a cast net. You CAN catch smaller bait fish with it. What I don't like about it is how it closes itself. You can throw a perfect pancakc, but it will spring back closed again. Not all the way, but the radius will dramatically diminish when it springs itself back closed. Also, there are two overlapping seams where they appear to have used strips of mesh, and joined them with overlapping sections, where the overlap is about 3 inches thick. These overlapping sections get very thick, and they are both right about where you want to hold the net when it's loaded.
In the end, I would really recommend against this net, especially at the price point. I'm not going to return mine, but I won't buy another.
