Answer: Good for bait fish, but the quality is bad. My net already has a few holes, my is minimum used only 6 or 7 times. I try to look for other brand.

Why is the same cast net only $37.54 at Walmart?

William : Worst cast net I've ever owned

I've thrown cast nets over forty years many brands and sizes. This is the worst one I've ever had. It tangles on itself more than 90% of the time. I have caught bait with it, but certainly not worth all the time and frustration especially if you're casting in the surf. It does not sink fast enough - even in very shallow water. Buy that I mean just 15-18 inches.

Although I did not buy it on Amazon, I did think people should know it's just not worth the money - period. I'm giving it the one star because I did catch bait with it.
