Answer: I wouldn't recommend these frogs. The plastic rips making it difficult to use more than a couple of times. I would go with the zoom horny toad. I can't remember whether or not it floats.

Max Gatsche : Great with exception!

I love these frogs and their action but the legs rip rather easy. If your pulling these through weeds, grass, pads you may go through a lot of bait. Up side is they do catch bass. I would recommend a double frog hook without the lead. I remove the lead from mine so the frog doesn't sink so fast. Good luck ripen lips.

This was the second year I ran this bait.It took a few misses to get the hook set right but after that the fun began! This year I caught 8 citation size fish in my state PA. That means a fish over 5 pounds and 20 inches.Out of the 8 fish 5 were on rage toads.The ones with the blue belly.The action was awsome, and the strikes were violent! I suggest atleast 14 pound braid and a 4/0 wide shank hook.You will not regret it!

This bait really catches bass right after the spawn. I caught 8 in one evening. The only problem is that I only caught two at most on each frog because they go flying of the hook when the bass jumps and shakes its head. It is exciting though, so take a couple of packages with you.

This frog bait can be rigged weedless and the legs kick-up quite a commotion. Used over weeds, mats, and pads to catch bass on lakes and ponds

The lure itself is amazing. The action it makes across the water is great and bass can't resist. I was pleasantly surprised when I bought this. My only complaint is that they break down so easy.

I would say I went through a pack of five roads in a matter of 3-4 fishing trips. Maybe it's just the way I was rigging it, but I was disappointed in that respect

All in all if you wanna catch some bass with a top water frog this is your best bet. Just buy a few packs.
