Frank C. : Would be great except one major flaw

I like the colors and material. It’s just the execution I’m disappointed in. The problem is the frogs belly; it’s realistically curved rather than flat. That curve eats a lot into the hook gape, effectively halving the hook gape size. That’s caused me to miss hooksets on strikes. I grew up fishing the similar Plummer Super frog (which had a flat belly) so I have a lot of experience fishing this style of bait. That reduced gape seems to particularly negatively effect snakehead hookups in particular. I’m going to see if I can cut a flat bottom on one to see if that’ll work without destroying the lure but I’m dubious it’ll work. Hope they correct this design flaw. When I first pulled the frog from the package, my first though was, “why they heck did they do that?”
