For the 5.9” size, how do you rig it when fishing for rock-cod and ling cod? With 3-way leader? jig-head? Or perhaps dropper loop?
Answer: It can be rigged any of those way. I use a three way swivel to stay on the bottom. And a jig-head for hopping action off the bottom or swimming the bait at different depths.
Answer: Any of the 3 works just depends if you’re on land or on a vessel. Currents, drifts, etc play a big role as well. Hope this answers your question.

Answer: I have not used mine yet but that's the plan. Heavier jig with lead head should do ok at slower speeds. I would imagine at 6+ knots it will be skipping. Hope this helps

Answer: This can be rigged with most any size hook or jig-head. For saltwater fishing I use 1oz to 8qz jig-heads depending on the water depth or with a 2/0 to 5/0 hook on a weighted 3 way rig. Rig it whatever way you feel will work for you. Experiment.

I was a bit skeptical at first but as I continued to fish with it, it started to catch some nice fish I used it to catch rock cod on the California coast, over all it lasted quite a while and I was happy with it one thing I kind of didn’t like was that it floats quite a bit so if you don’t have a heavy enough hook to keep it buoyant or a bulky jig head on it it tends to do what you don’t want it to

I make dioramas. These are so cool!!! I actually ordered 3 different colors! Yes, the Ink Glow does glow in the dark. Wrapped the tentacles around a scale sized building and omg, soooo cute! None of mine had the scent they say it has tho. Personally grateful for this. Wow, life like! So excited to use them all!

Ordered Two Sets. One should have been 5.9" with Quantity 3. The other 7.8" Quantity 2. What I received was two packages of 5.9" with Two squids each. Total misrepresentation. I'm returning them.

It's a realistic bait. Tested in the pool and it moves really well and is very attractive. It's just very, very fragile. I did a custom hook setup so if the fish bite the tentacles, I can at least guarantee that the fish will get hooked, but I'm not too convinced that it will last very long as the eyes started coming off as I threaded wire leader through the body to make my own jig for it. I recommend repairing any nicks or cuts or broken off pieces with silicone sealer or bonder. It will stick very tight and help it last longer too since silicone is a very strong material. But it's expensive. Fortunately I had some silicone bonder for my dildos laying around so I used that to put the eye back on and basically frankenstein the parts that got nicked up from my hooks. Lmfao. ;)
