Answer: that was issue when i first ordered these, they dont have the weights, you gotta look at the model number then go to gotcha’s site and compare. From what i remember you gotta get the ones where the package size is like 6 ounces

Can you replace the hooks with inline hooks?

Answer: You can if you use a split ring between the hook and the lure.

Will these work on the california coast??

Answer: I don’t know but I expect they would for fish that are attracted to them. I use them to fish for bluefish on the east coast.

Answer: Really depends on what you would fish for. I pretty much only use them for Spanish Mackeral. Very affective for that. I've heard that they work on trout.

Answer: I suggest using them in the water where they are just as likely to catch fish as any other lure. In reality what I find works best is local knowledge. Go to the local bait shop and buy what they recommend.

These lures work great for catching Spanish mackerel, but the are not durable. After only one use and the occasional bumping against rocks the paint began to chip away. Not only that, but the lures rust extremely easy so make sure that you rinse them with fresh water after every use. Other than that these lures were great.

Bought the Gotcha G300GH-3PK Plug Assortment after a recommendation from a fellow fisherman. The Gotcha G300GH-3PK Plug Assortment lures work well, and I have caught fish with them. However I find the lure to be less than durable. After one use I noticed the paid in the head flaking off. After several uses all the hooks were corroding, even with fresh water rinsing after every use. I've come to expect that my lure will all need to be replaced because of their use in saltwater however I don't expect to see this kind of deterioration in such a short period of time. The Gotcha Lure works great however the building materials are not great.

These got-cha's will get cha all sorts of fish. First time using them and schoolie stripers tore them up. King mackerel, shad and bluefish are slamming them too. Caught so many with the silver and pink one that the trebles started to bend. Replaced and cast back out.

Didn't catch any fish but may have been more of a problem with the pier we were fishing than the lure. I've used Gotcha plugs with a great deal of success in the past so assuming it was the pier I was fishing.

Well when i added item to my cart it was a picture of the 2 white bodies with red and yellow head and one with a yellow body. But i guess the item changed when it was in my cart so i received the siver and gold ones instead. Plus the item weight of each lure wasnt descripted right so thinking each lure was an ounce they are all 7/8 of an ounce.
