Why do these black and blue zoom claws cost so much, Walmart sells this same claw for $4.00 ?

Answer: Only used this for bass fishing. Though its fishing who knows.

What hook to use for this lure ??

Answer: Use a 1/0 hook. I prefer the Gamakatsu worm hook / wide gap or Eagle claw. Change it up sometimes with a red one.

Answer: I use a 4/0 wide gap

What colors have you had the most success with? How did you rig and present it?

Answer: I have tried several colors but always end up with the green pumpkin magic catching the most and better fish. Usually fished on a Carolina rig with a 3/0 hook and 1/2 os. bullet or egg sinker. It works well in shallow water to 15-20 feet around rocks just slowly moving it. I also fish it with no wait for small mouths in the rivers and just drift it. The Green pumpkin majic color is hard to find locally, as many of the local shops save them for thier own use.

Answer: I've only used one color so far - Watermelon red. I've had good success with it, mostly on sunny days where the red flake will light up. I texas rig it with a bullet hook either swim it (move rod tip up/down while slow reel) or jig/twitch it on the bottom. It's been one of my better lures.

Answer: I rig mine texas style or as a trailer on a jig. Black and blue never fails. You can use it on a swim jig also since it causes much vibration. Also watermelon red.

This low quality bait is poorly made and has no action whatsoever. The legs do not flop or swim in the water and simply drag along, which make it look unnatural.

The product looks old and the color changed very much. However, I still used it to catch a lot of fish. Maybe the color does not matter very much.

Got a couple packs of these in Green Pumpkin the other day and Texas rigged one on a 2/0 Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp RB worm hook with an unpegged 1/8oz brass bullet weight w/bead. Tossed it a few times into a pool directly downstream of some rapids and two 6-7" smallies slammed it. Moved on to a drop-off under a tree and landed a 10" smallmouth on my 2nd cast. The action while hopping it across the river bed is very lifelike.

One thing I noticed about these baits is that even after landing those three fish and snagging a few times on branches, the craw was still pretty much intact. No missing claws or legs and the body was still solid enough to skin hook for a weedless presentation. A+ on durability!

I also plan to use these as a trailer for some finesse jigs and I expect they will not disappoint. Great bait.
