How can I hang antique rods on the netting?

Answer: You can not hang the rods on the netting. The netting will break with any weight on it.... But you can drape the netting over the rods....and tie it down with small zip-ties. But do not hang anything from the netting. It is not a real fishing net, if it is, the fish could easily break free of it.

Answer: I would suggest threading it through the netting. It is really easily stretched and requires possibly a cord around the edges to keep the shape you want. Hope that helps!

How large are the openings? I'm thinking of using it as a pet barrier around my deck.

Answer: Openings are less than 2 inches wide. I got one because it is a reasonably good value. I think a raccoon tore some holes in the net I got.

Answer: Fish net measures stretch mesh. This net 20 x 8 is 2 inch stretch from knot to knot on a diamond.That means when you open the hole it is one inch. A golf ball will not fit thru the hole. Hope this helps.

Fish nets used for decoration were very popular in the Sixties, but are very difficult to find now. Once they decorated game rooms and pool houses across America, hanging on walls festooned with starfish, shells, or whatnot. The net I found so conveniently on Amazon is large (20X8 feet) lightweight nylon (?) in white, but easily dyed any color or even tie-dyed. It arrives in an 8.5X11 envelope and unfolds for easy use. It is exactly what I needed and already gets numerous compliments from friends. I am very satisfied.

I bought this net to be used in my Class C RV. We're getting ready to take a cross-Canada and -US trek -- me, my son, my dog, and my kitties. I am using the netting to keep pets out of the driving area and from getting out the door if it is opened. The net is thin, but very strong, and the price is right. Perfect. And I plan to keep it to use to decorate when I get where I am going.

I was very disappointed when I received the fish net. It's as thin as thread and not cut uniformly to the dimensions advertised. It really is just garbage. We couldn't use the stuff for the nautical theme we were looking for at the lake house. It looks more like cob webs than fish net when strung up. Don't waste your money.

I originally ordered this so that I could use it to cover my pool toys and prevent them from blowing around the yard and pool when it's rainy and windy. When it arrived, i felt it might be too light to do this so I ended up using it as decoration on our back fence. It looks very nice. Not exactly what I ordered it for but turned out to be a nice touch to our yard. We live by the ocean, so it's an appropriate fence decor by the pool. I am still going to look for a heavier mesh netting to hold my pool toys against the side fence.
