I fish mostly in saltwater which quickly destroys other types of rulers. This one is more durable and folds up to stow out of the way.

Flimsy. It does not snap into place. It is just hinged. Not useful for kayak fishing.

Only used it once but does it’s job. It is bulky when folded up but any ruler that is this long will be big when folded. Happy with the purchase!

My only critique is that you have to open it to measure a fish—even a smaller one. I would have designed it to have the smaller values on the outside so you could measure a fish without opening the entire thing

The ruler is exactly what I ordered, though actually it might be too much of what I ordered. It folds up but is still a bit too large to fit into a standard tackle box. I'll have to slip it into a bucket with a cast net or other gear. Other than that, the markings are clear and it seems quite sturdy for a plastic large folding rule.

Great ruler. Extend to where you want it. Only issue for me was the 90 degree piece at the start sticks. Have to be careful not to break it when putting it up.

This thing feels like you could probably break it on the hinges if you wanted to but it's plenty sturdy enough. It folds up nicely and fits in the storage boxes on the boat. Unless you have a super large tackle box it's not going to fit there.
