Could this be used for collecting seashells?

Answer: Maybe. Depends on where and how you are collecting them. It would work certainly if you dropped them in. If you were trying to 'scoop' them, it may or may not be strong enough.

Answer: Its maybe a foot long in total length its good for small fish like shiners or minows or goldfish, it floats pretty well too, i thought it was bigger i got it for netting gills in my bucket, but it works good enough

Answer: Only if they are very small.. This net is a small minnow net.. The lizard would need to be little!!

Anyone that’s had one for some time, does it rust?

Answer: Yes it does rust. If I purchase another one, I will be sure to dry it after using it. Otherwise it is a great minnow net. I have lost more than one over the side of the boat, when they didn't float.

Answer: I think ours is rusted, but it stays at the beach where just about anything that has metal on it will rust over time.

Answer: I would think so. Get a plastic rimmed net for salt water use, or a well made aluminum net.

Answer: No, suitable only for minnows. Get a little larger and stronger than that will still fit in your live well.

How many catches can you get on one in one day

Answer: Usually I use this type of net at night time to catch some crawfish up in the rocks but I have caught quite a few catch and release bass, blue gill, one baby gar the size of my pinky, a small baby snapping turtle and one baby snake that quickly got away so I can't really answer your question fully but hope this gives ya some insight as to what it is capable of

It's a great net, but the sticker does not easily pull off of the handle. As the handle gets wet, the sticker comes off.

Bought this to use in my Livewell on the boat, but it's way to small. I'd be chasing minnows in circles trying to get them in.

I use this to retrieve a live minnow from the bucket, and to hold the bait fish through the two layers of nylon net that makes it much easily to hold the minnow while I hook it. This is now an indispensable tool for me. Highly recommended.

It's a small minnow net and it works and floats. What else is there to say? It does what it says it will do.
