Answer: el tamaño es aproximadamente de 12 centímetros y de muy buena calidad, ya lo use con muy buenos resultados.

Is light spinning tackle required to cast this lure?... the lightest salwater gear i have is a penn 500 jigmaster with 30 lb test line...

Answer: haven't used this since last summer but I recall its lightweight. I would think 30 lb test and heavier gear would not be a great choice

Answer: I use 14# works good , 30# might be a little heavy

Answer: Probably not going to be your best bet trying to cast this with that reel.

How much does it weight?

Answer: If you want to troll try the 20 and 30 rapalas and troll but not too slow just enough the rod is bent with a tight drag but not too tight either.

has anyone used this for surf fishing? if so where are you located and how did it work out?

Answer: It's 4 inches. All lengths don't include the lip or hooks

Can it be used effectively used as a trolling lure for bonitos and yellowtails?

Answer: I use it for casting for Rockfish, aka stripers. I mainly cast it but have used them trolling as well. Definitely would work if you cast it to breaking fish.

Can you use for pier fishing? If not maybe some recommendations?

Answer: Will be a bit difficult for piers, this is not a heavy plug and will be a challenge to cast and retrieve from a pier

Answer: All I throw on the pier is xwraps and leaders for king mackerel just gotta make sure it’s a weighted one or long cast I never buy the ones without a bill and with circle hooks

Can you use it to troll?

Answer: Best to troll with the X-rap designed for that which is the X-rap Magnum. The 15 in blue mackerel is excellent for that. Other sizes may be good depending on the target size but I have been on the boat when 30lb wahoos got caught on the X-rap Magnum 15 on 30lb mono. Larger sizes may need stronger line due to the added pull of the lip to get them down deeper.

Answer: Due to the short lip more for casting and retrieve for tuna or GTs.

Answer: 7/16 oz

how to select size before ordering?

Answer: Should be a bar across the bottom of the description or a drop down with all the available sizes. I do not know what device you are using so I can not be more precise.

Does this float or sink

Answer: This is a neutrally bouyant lure. It sinks about 1-2 feet and then remains suspended in the water column as it is retreived. It doesn't float like a top water, but it also will not sink to the bottom like a jig head. Hope this helps.

Answer: Runs 3-8 ft, can be casted or trolled. If you are looking for something that trolls deeper, try the Rapala Countdown Magnum series in 11ft,14ft,18ft, or 22 ft trolling depth

Answer: It is small and light, so I guess it depends on your trolling/retrieve speed. I trolled it behind a kayak one time so I couldn't really tell. I haven't really used mine extensively, but it is a sexy little lure. If I was a fish I would eat it.

Answer: It depends on the casting force and type of rod you have but I approximate around 15-30 feet. It's a great product. I catch mackerels all the time.

You want to have a good time? Tie this thing onto an ultra light and throw it out for some Mackerel fishing? Mackerel are the most cannibalistic fish I have ever seen, the best bait for Mackerel .... is Mackerel. They hit live bait good, but they absolutely slam this thing. It's fun because if you're elevated, you can see the mackerel darting from 30 yards away to slam this thing, and when you have it tied on a 7' ultra-light rod... Hold On!! It makes fishing for bait fun.
