Answer: I’ve fished this from the shoreline for stripers in tge Tennessee river,and fished it from the jetty and the beach for king mackerel and bonito in Fla so the answer is definitely yes you can with positive results

Answer: I didn’t see why not, I’d run flouro leader direct tied to heavy braid. Stick bait that size won’t be getting hit by anything small. I fish from a kayak works great but sinks so pace your retrieve accordingly.

Well done. Expected hooks. No problem, probably would change them. Some lures come whith great hooks.

Will not strong enough for tuna or GT, not wire through design. I definitely not recommend this lure if you are going for the off shore species. Did not test the cast or action but the plastic seems pretty solid.

It was exactly what I thought it would be.

My son and I have used this a few times on a couple different rods and line weights. On the cast it wobbles in flight and on the retrieve there isn't much action. We tried fast and slow retrieves and just can't get it to work well. Its a nice looking lure and for the price was worth the try but I think we'll be modifying it to see if we can improve the action.

Im impressed with this lure , great colors and sturdy ; only reason I gave 4 stars is it doesn't come with hooks. I used 120# split rings size 6 and gamakatsu treble short shank size 1.
