Is this the 7 inches radius

Answer: The radius is 3.5 feet, the mesh size is 3/8 inch square.

Does the 1/4”x3ft net have a 6ft diameter or is it just 3ft?

Answer: The diameter is 6 ft. For some reason Fitec specifies the radius instead, which is of course 3 ft.

Are there any bait cast nets available with 1/4" mesh netting?

Answer: This net works very well in saltwater.

Is this good for saltwater?

Answer: I’ve used it in Saltwater and it’s fine. Give the net a good rinse from the hose after you use it and let it air try outside the box to prevent smells. Only problem with the 6ft 1/4” net is that weights aren’t heavy enough to seek down quick.

Answer: I use this net to catch baitfish in the surf and it works great. This net is a lighter model and works well in shallow water. It is also easy to throw and opens up well. As others have recommended, rinse the net well with fresh water and let it dry before putting it away.

just checking before I buy.. Is the mesh 1/4 inch? It states it measures 1/4" by 3'

Answer: I have the box right here. The net you're asking about, 10140, says: Mesh 3/8", 4' radius (so 8' diameter).

What is the maximum spread on a 4-foot net?

Answer: A net with a 4-foot radius opens up to a diameter of 8 feet. The net dimension is specified as the radius, you just double the number to get the diameter.

Is the 1/4 net 3ft or 5ft? The header said 3ft but the description said 5ft

I bought the 6 ft and I thought that was going to be to small. It is perfect. The directions are kind of hard to follow I couldn’t get the net to cast properly. I used it for the 1st time today and had the game warden show me how to use it. That was an interesting experience but all and al this is a great product.

Great cast net for bait catching bait on the beach. I purchased this product to catch green back shiners in Florida. It works great, the webbing is small enough that the green backs don't get caught in the net. This works great in two to five feet deep water.
