Answer: Yes it can. You can shift the magnet on the jig right or left. There are tick marks indicating 2 degrees in each direction.

Answer: yes it will dp either 3 at 120 degrees or 4 at 90 degees.

Answer: While I no expert at this I have been successful so far so I will have to say I don't think so because the clip is only six inches long where the fletching sits. However if push comes to shove and you can't find one longer this may work with a little finesse.

can I fletch 5in traditional feathers on wood shafts?

Answer: Yes you can. You have to set up the jig differently for feathers, but it can be done. The jig is long enough for a 5 inch feather. It can do a 3 or 4 setup. Feathers (5-7 minutes) also take longer to dry than vanes (3-5 minutes).

Answer: I do 4 inch feathers. The jig is large enough for 5 inch feathers.

Answer: I have done it. Just make sure clamp is aligned correctly.

What is the difference between the straight and right wing clamp? Are the fletch are arranged in different patterns? Is it bow dependent?

Answer: A right (or left) clamp will will put a slight twist on the vane, this causes the arrow to rotate faster which some say will stabilize the arrow quicker after release, or after a not so clean release. Have heard that you lose a bit of velocity with the right and lefts over straights I have always used the straight so I can't say from experience. Not bow dependent at all.

Answer: Most archery shops sell right wing feathers, so just use a straight clamp, if you need instructions check out YouTube . You will learn more there than I can tell you.

Answer: yes up to 6 degrees

Answer: You should be able to do it.

Answer: Sure. The detents are pretty solid. You might take out the moons and throw in a normal nock to keep it tight though. Just for fletching, then you can put the moons back in. There’s a grove that the nock rides in to get the angles right. The moons may not be hold enough. Either be very mindful of your angles or put a normal nock on there and it’s dummy proof.

Answer: Spend your money on a better fletcher. Something that's fully adjustable. There are adjustments on this one but not enough to make it really usable. I threw mine away. Dave

Answer: if you buy a bolt adaptor, the Grayling jig comes with bolt adaptor

Answer: yes but its not that easy to adjust and get correct.

Do you need to wrap the bolts "arrows" with fletching tape or is it better to just glue them right on the bolt?

Answer: I glue mine directly to the shaft. Tape may help remove damaged fletching and glue when required esp on carbon and wood arrows you need to avoid digging into when cutting off old glue and fletching. I don't have a problem with the glue holding fletching directly to shaft. I didn't know about tape until a couple months ago when I watched a how to vid on YouTube.

Answer: I just glue them right on. I've had no issues. I would recommend a fletching tool for easy removal of old ones. I tried razor blades and exacto but the de-fletching tool worked best.

Has to sand the face of the clamp flat to use. Hard to get the spacing right if you're fletching just one vane. Works ok if you replace all three vanes.

I recently purchased this fletching jig, I have been pretty impressed. I fletched some Beman ICS Hunter Classic arrows with a 4 fletch configuration with the AAE pro Max vanes. The only thing I didn't like is it's hard to know what your degree of offset is with this jig. Also the discs for the 4 fletch were a little difficult to get in. However, for the money this is a great jig.

It does everything that its supposed to. But.........the nock position really should be adjustable in relation to the fletching holder. Even after playing with the adjustments available I still can't seem to get the nock in the correct position in relation to the "cock" vane. My son has this same jig and has the same problem. I've been fletching arrows for 40 years and never ran into this problem before. I'm a machinist so I'll just make an adjustable ring for locating/indexing the nock.

This is a nice little jig. The only issue I have is that I cut self nocks in my arrows and I am having a hard time indexing them.

For about 40 bucks you get a okay jig. Just takes some common sense to use.. the only thing I don't like about it is the clamp moves around when you need it to be solid.

Perfect 3 blade fletching every time and it was not very expensive I have saved sooooo much money using this thing over 3 years now and made well over 100 arrows in that time. So will pay itself off fast if you are into archery!

Amazon Customer : Easyer to just glue vans on the arrow without using a jig.

Found it easyer to eye ball the van and glue them on the arrow without using this jig. Now we own a hunk of plastic.

Works great!! I have already used this and repaired nine arrows and they turned out perfect! This is the straight jig, I may consider getting a offset item clamp to go with this one for future repairs. Instructions are easy, just don't get glue on clamp as others have mentioned.

cameron : Don’t expect even spacing

If you don’t care about evenly spaced fletchings, this is a fine jig. The problem is the nock doesn’t click in. It slides over a thin piece of plastic with lots of wiggle room. I’ve had it for months and I’ve maybe been able to get the spacing right on 2 maybe 3 arrows out of dozens. You can glue your vanes on, you can easily adjust for left/right helical or offset depending on the clamp, but you can’t get the vanes evenly spaced. I’m gonna try making the nock holder a bit thicker with some duct tape. Really frustrating

Andy T. : Great Starter Jig

I've been a bow shooter my whole life, and only recently started fletching my own arrows. This gets the job done perfectly. I use it with G5 G-Lock Blu Glue. Sets within 5-7 minutes and on to the next one. Fully cured in 24 hours. The turn knob works well, the magnet for the clamp is strong and the seat it makes on the arrow shaft is true. Easy to confirm alignment with other fletches.

Kedgin : the quality is not good

The clamp is a little curve. I tried many ways to fix it, but couldn't get a satisfied result.
If I buy a new one it must be made of metal.

Victor Henderson : Easy Setup and easy to use

Received yesterday, opened package and took about 3 minutes to adjust. In less than an hour I had 5 arrows fletched. That included stripping and cleaning old fletches off, eating dinner and finally applying new Blazers. Worked like a charm. I had used a Bitzenburger about twenty years ago. Both work great. Bitzenburger will probably last longer with the all metal construction but for as few arrows as I will need to fletch the Bohning will suit me just fine and for under $30 you can't really go wrong.

Would definitely recommend this product.

I bought two of these and thought I saw where glue did not adhere--not true, although you should be careful with the amount of glue used to keep the glue on the clamp to a minimum. I would like to hear the best way to remove it from the clamps, I have been gently scraping.
