Is this for trolling or bottom jigging?

Answer: I have been using this jig for bottom jigging. Never tiried it for trolling. The best use for me has been stripers off a boat on the New Jersey coast. Green would be my second color choice.

Answer: you could use this for trolling or casting, I have only used it casting. I suggest a tactical anglers clip to attach to your line, sometimes there is a little flashing on the front of the lure that can cut your line. hope that helps, DB

Pat : Effective.

It’s awesome to use when the water is rough. It sinks lower in the water column that a surface plug would, and finds the blues that are avoiding the top water to reserve their energy. Great jig!

The kure is nice and shines well but the hook that came with these was very dull. I had three or four really solid hits while fishing with these but NO catches. I switched out the hook at the advise of a crew member from the boat and started bringing in blues and stripers right away. It sure looks like the hook was the problem
