What scent do you put in this lure for bass?

Answer: You don't put a scent in it. It's a jig.

Answer: So, first thing you want to do is remove the craw from its packaging and let it sit out to air out. They have a very strong chemical smell and it takes a few days for it to dissipate. As far as sent for the lure, just google; scents for bass or liquid bass sent . You’ll find what you need there. There are many “crawdad” scents on the market. Cheers????

Firstly, this bait looks great, fine details, nice hooks, & well balanced. Unfortunately, it smells like a chemical factory when you take it out of its packaging. That said, just leave it out in open air for at least a week... and the smell does go away completely. As far as a jig goes, very lifelike, great action, durable, & can get through the thickest of cover. I’d say, put a few in your jig box as an alternative.

got this for fresh water fishing, the large mouth bass in the water kept on swimming right by it, no interest at all. Waste of money.
