Is it dishwasher safe?

Answer: It does not say anything on the package but another on-line retailer states that it is. I will guarantee it is fisher washer safe.

Answer: Yes it is. I wash mine in the dishwasher after every use.

Does the sheath have an easy way to attach to the belt via, say, a loop or clip?

Answer: Yes, the heard sheath has a belt loop attached to it.

Answer: It does have a loop but the knife does not fit snuggly in the sheath and may easily come out. Good knife.

I failed initially in that I didn't give is a sharpening before the first use...totally my fault. But after sharpening the blade with the included / integrated sharpener...the edge barely held up through a couple of fillets.
