What is yalls goal for a new PB?? Mine is already a 9 1/2 lbs but I'm aiming for one in the double digits. I would love to land one that is about 10 1/2 to 14 lbs. Lake Fork, here I come......again.

WAIT FOR ME!!
It will be '07 by the time I get back to Fork so it may not count but for '06 but my PB WILL be taken from Fork (I hope) lol
The fisheries biologist at my home lake(who is also a good friend of mine)told me that during a population survey,he shocked up a 16 lb bass.He said he's been shocking it up for several years in the same general location. He knows it's the same bass because it has a blind left eye.He let me know exactly where it's at.I always give that area a good hours fishing every time I go.Hooked a monster there last year that broke 15 lb Big Game.I'd like to think it was the big 'un,but who knows. That's my goal to catch that bass.It weighed 16 pounds 1 1/2 years ago. It's gotta be bigger or dead.
That would be sooo cool to be chasing a "particular" fish.
Old grandma
Give her a kiss for me when you finally meet!

Agreed! Like stalking something with a traditional bow.
Just make sure you fish her from the right hand side:)
I've already caught a 5lb smally, so I guess it will be a 6lbr. For my largemouth I am going for the 5lb mark, since I have yet to get one bigger than 4lbs. That is the drawbacks of living in MI....lol....have to really search for the toads up here.
HEY SQUID, YOU NEED TO COME OVER TO LAKE ST. CLAIR. SINCE 2002 I'VE CAUGHT TWENTY THREE SMALLIES SIX POUNDS OR MORE. MY PB IS SIX POUNDS-FIFTEEN OUNCES.
MY GOAL THIS SEASON IS TO BREAK THE SEVEN POUND MARK.
My PB is a 7 lb. 9 oz. taken at West Boggs. I'll have to say that 8 lbs is my next target.

That is where I got over 5lbs....lol
I really want to catch a ten pounder, but I would be happier with any fish thats bigger than the biggest fish I have ever caught, which is a little over 7 pounds.
13.87 lbs just because my PB is 13.86 lbs.
7 pound Bronzeback. Next up with be one that is 8lb 1oz and the new Maine State Record.
Unless I go on a vacation down south I don't think there is a shot at me breaking my overall PB (10-8). And I am not real confident about breaking my in-state PB either of 8-2. Both of them were caught last year. My previous in state PB was 6-2 , 3 times, and two of them were caught out of a farm pond I don't have access to anymore.
I would like to beat my state record of 10lbs 14 oz, my pb is 8 lbs and some change.
I broke my previous personal best (5lb 9oz) back on April 9th with a 5lb 12oz. Looks like most of the waters I'm fishing are just about over with the spawn so it'll be a little tougher for me to break that mark. I'd love to break the 6lb mark next! A couple of my fishing buddies are trying to talk me into a trip to Briery Creek this year, so I may have a chance IF we make it down there!
10+
My current PB is a 12.2, so 12.3 would be awesome. Hey Basser89, check out Sleepy Creek Lake just across the river from you. I'm good friends with the manager, and there are numberous 10+ lbers caught and lost in there every year.
I would be really happy with a 22 pound 5 ouncer
My personal best so far is 7 pounds even. My dad's best bass is 7 pounds 4 ounces. It has always been my goal to beat him, and I am getting close
I'll be happy with a 5lber. Since I haven't even broken the 4lb mark. Last night I caught a 8" rock bass.....wasn't too bad! Still haven't gotten any lake fishing done.....no boat. :'( But I WILL be out there sometime soon.
8-10 lbs is my goal this year. I hope I can do it!!
I hav a 12lb 5oz so I guess I'm looking for something over 15 to put in the tank at BPS in Nashville. Don't know what the Tenn record is I'll have to look that up tonight. I'm also in search of a punkinseed over 5oz that is the Tenn record for that species and I'm sure I had one bigger than that last year on Old Hickory. I threw it back without even knowing about the record. I remember thinking what a huge punkinseed, but I dont pan fish that much anymore so I didnt think much more about it till i saw the record in the book. I bet I could put that in the tank at BPS also.
44 to 46 years old brown hair nice figure and owns her own bass boat :

Don't you want her to be rich also so she can support your bass habit?
I want to just catch as many types and sizes of fish as I can. Bluegills, crappie, white bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass, wipers, walleye and catfish are all fine with me.
My PB is 10lb 6oz. My goal is 25lbs ;D. When I was a kid, my dad told me if you shoot for the stars you just might hit the moon.
i'm new to fishing specifically for bass so i am gonna go with 4.5lbs, one time i had a 4 -6 lb smallmouth in the boundry waters my dad guessed the weight but he broke the line.
I have caught some decent bass n my day but never one to really get going on. I consider a fish needs to be at least 6lbs to gt excited and 8lbs for a leg kick. I am going to Lake Fork as well and hope to get one at least 9lbs or better.
I would like to catch a good 7-8lbs spot right now my biggest is 5.8lbs and a nice largemouth aroud 7 or 8lbs.
My current "I know what I am doing" PB is 7lb 1 oz. When I was 11 I caught a 10lb bass out of a pond in Florida by accident. I hope to someday catch a 10lber here in NY.......the state record is 11 and change.
