What are your favorite all around bait/lure companies?
Mann's
Jelly worms and Minus cranks rock
Live Target is one of my favorite lure companies. Have caught my fair share of big bass on some of their products.
I probably have more Berkeley products than any other company. Zoom would be a close second.
Strike King probably has one of the most widespread, all round offerings of any bait company and I love everything I've tried from them.
Zoom is pretty awesome as well. Berkley is getting up there with their new hard bait line but I haven't tried any of those out.
Xcalibur R.I.P.
Soft baits - Reins, Keitech, Jackall
Hard baits - Ima, Duo Realis, Jackall
Runner ups - Reaction Innovations, Spro
Plastics - Zoom, Berkley, and NetBait
Cranks - Norman
Spinnerbaits - War Eagle (Screamin Eagle)
Jigs - Arkie
I like them all, My Favorite is always going to be what the fish want that day ...
Pradco-Bomber, Heddon, Cordell, Xcalibur, Booyah, Yum, Bandit and more.
Rapala, Strike King, Culprit, Gambler, Bass Pro, Spro, Zoom & ZMAN...But I have lures from Sebile I love, as well as soft baits from companies like Lunker City, Larew, etc..
I use some Japanese lures like the Gunfish, Duo Topwaters, and I love Yo-zuri lures in the Sahimi series especially. Stained water the Sahimi pencil one knocker is great on heavy braid with ultra strong hooks. Love Saltwater hooks for topwaters I throw on braid which is why I love a long A for a Rip bait even when I want to throw a Bang O lure or Rogue etc. Stronger hooks, TX3 heavy guage are great hooks. Love the Long A 15 and Pro Long A Timmy Horton for a suspender.
Overall Strike King makes some great baits across the board. Their stuff is decently priced and their lures catch fish. That said, I have favorite brands per specific lure.
For example, I don't think it gets much better than a Lucky Craft pointer for jerkbaits IMHO. They have unmatched action. Spro gets the nod for me for hollow body frogs. They are more durable and don't take on water as much as others. I have undoubtedly caught more bass over the years on Berkley Power worms than any other worm (or lure for that matter). However, Roboworm is my favorite finesse worm and drop shot bait. I could go on, but you likely get the point. I don't fish tournaments and therefore don't have company sponsorships, so why limit myself to just one brand?
Zoom, Heddon
My soft plastics are mostly Berkley/Havoc and Zoom.
My hard bait collection is much smaller, but more diverse in terms of manufacturer. It's mostly Rapala/Storm and Heddon, with some Bomber, Berkley, and Sebile.
Zoom, Berkley, Culprit, Bill Lewis, Strike King, Rapala
Probably caught more fish on a Berkley power worm than anything else I throw.
Rage Tail
GYCB and Berkley Havoc

I fish a lot of soft baits but the only one I don't care for anymore is Gulp.
As far as hardbaits go I fish a lot LC, MB, Xcalibur, Rapala, and a few others.
Strike King: Love their plastics (Rage Tail) and crank baits. I also use their tungsten.
Bill Lewis: The legendary Rat-L-Trap
GYCB: Best plastics in the industry. Everything they make is quality.
Revenge Baits: Best flippin jigs I've ever used
Zoom: Super Chunks and Trick Worms!!!
Keitech: Crazy Flapper is amazing. I hear they have good swinbaits too.
Gamakatsu: best hooks
6th Sense: Incredible hard baits. The best weight pegs.
It's all preference isn't it ? I don't use anything that says KVD on it because of a bad experience I had with one of his "KVD approved " items. So ultimately I use nothing from strike King except some of the rage tails . But I'm sure I could use nothing but strike king products and still catch just as many fish . Personally. I like rapala , and bomber for cranks. Culprit , zoom, gyb for plastics
Plastics: I love em all! Rage Tail is #1 followed by Zoom & Bass Assassin
