Just got the call from C&C Marine in Modesto, and my boat is built. I have no idea how long it will take for it to get here from the factory but I can't wait! I'll post pictures as soon as it arrives guys.
What did you get?
Ranger Z22 with a 300 Merc.
Thats a huge boat. Is it coming with electronics in it already, or is that the next step in your building process?

That is AWESOME!!!
Not bad : ;D ;D ;D ;D
Very Nice!!! Be sure to post some pics.
WOW, nice ride!
Wow I bet thats one sweet ride. But I would hate to see how much it set you back.
Hopefully I can pick it up in a week or so. Here is the color scheme i went with.
Redline Robert- Shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to get it to MoTown during this time of the year, that was about my timeline 3 years ago. I'm also a Ranger Driver, in my opinion there is no other bass boat. Chet and Robert are good people and will take care of you. Oh, and NICE ride.........I know it's going to be Hell waiting.
Sweet ride.
6 months to get it delivered? I'd revolt!
Redline, did you get a dual or single console? Did you go with Lowrance and Minnkota?
That thing had to of cost over $55K.... You will get it next week, and I will steal it from you in 2 weeks. You might as well call your insurance lady and order a new boat on monday.
Bass N Leo- Yeah, about 6 months from start to finish, that is walking in to C& C to order it and finally hitching it to the back of my tow vehicle. Thought I edited that section because I misread Redlines original post .
Redline- FYI, I'll try and pull to the right if we're both going the same direction on the Shipping Channel out of Ladd's.
Wanna Race?
lol
The turtle and the hare,lol
Good luck with her, safe travels!
Now that is one sweet ride!! Post some pics of you and them big ol hogs your gonna catch in it!
Of Course I like LBH's too But I don't think the turtle has a chance in this race!! :
redline, just a question here but doesn't some bass tournament circuits allow a maximum horsepower of 250. I've seen and heard of people with 300 horsepower motors that purchase 250 decals to get by the hp restriction for tournaments. Is your boat a tournament boat or a guide boat?
Thanks guys, I am hoping that I can pick it up Saturday. If I do, I'll be fishing Sunday
I ended up going with the MotorGuide Digital trolling motor, and for electronics I chose the Lowrance 332C up front and the Lowrance 26C HD in back.
I chose a dual console, since my dad goes out with me quite a bit I wanted to make sure he is comfortable.
I hear the same thing about tourny's, limiting HP to 250. I'm not planning on fishing any tournaments though, this for me is a hobby and once I start getting that serious about it then it becomes too stressful. I'll leave that to the pros
Cabela10, my boat is fully insured, so steal away! Did I mention that I have a backup policy with Berreta and Springfield Armoury? ;D
LBH, your on! If you ever find yourself in CA look me up.
WOW!!!! What a ride with the 300 you will have WARP capability. Ahead warp factor 6 Mr Sulu. LOL!!!!

ROFLMAO! That was right on time Russ!! Thats still one of the slickest lookin' jons I've ever seen!

That's only IF the dogs don't wake up. Very rare. ;D

I could not agree with you more. Back in 2000 I bought my first bass boat, A Ranger 520DVX also from Richard at C&C. Those guys are the best. I sold that boat in '04, since it sat dormant for almost a year not being used. I was working too much. >
After my big fishing trip in November, I had to have a new boat. So I ordered it mid November, and it was finished mid January. I'd say that was pretty quick!
I'll have to start fishing the Delta - maybe we can hook up some time.
I will be the first to admit it.
I have boat ***....

Good one...
Congrats Redlinerobert!! Looks like a killer boat!
I spoke to the salesman today. The boat arrives at the dealership tomorrow. Looks like I can pick it up Saturday
Why the 3-4 day wait to pick it up if your dealer has it?

I am sure that the dealership has to prep, check function of all electrical components along with engine. I am also sure that they will give that thing a good bath so it will be shinning like a diamond. I wanna see some pics when you get it!
And yes I have boat *** too!!
That is correct Bassmachine. Not to mention that I live an hour and a half away from the dealership, I've been working long days lately too...
Pictures will come Saturday.
Oh, I see, I haven't had the honor of ordering a brand new custom boat from a factory yet, so I'm new to this stuff.
Got the call, boat made it to the dealership, but no Lowrance 26C HD. :-[ Seems that there is a back order?
RR-
Look forward to it. As for the delay on your boat, something about absence and the heart . JBQuoteI'll have to start fishing the Delta - maybe we can hook up some time.
I spoke to Richard Yesterday. I'm going to try and locate a 26C HD today and have it overnighted to C&C. If not I can either pick up the boat as is or wait til they get the unit in. If I do bring one in I have to get a credit from Ranger since the cost of the unit has already been factored in to the final price.
Is it like when you get a car that the factory price is much less than if I was to buy it on my own?
Totally pimp.
Prettier than a peacock (bass that is)
Be safe, have fun, land a biggun
