It works as it's supposed to. As everyone says, be sure to push really hard on each front corner to hear the latch click shut on each side. Once latched, it works as it should. If I use it a lot, I'll probably go for the one that holds the bag roll. But if you have minimum counter space, this one is good.

This is definitely a worthy upgrade from my older vacuum sealer. First of all, it’s cordless, and rechargeable. That means I can freely move around with it and don’t have to be restricted in one spot. It’s simple to operate, straight forward one touch operation without the need to manually hold down the bar. I put the food in the bag, insert in the machine, push the button and it seals itself.

I have another vacuum sealer from Walmart, but that one has a powered cable, it's good but I was looking for something to use on My RV... I love picking fruits from nature and freezing the pulp. So this guy is perfect for my RV and for my kitchen, works very well like the most expansive one. I performed several tests with dry and wet foods and with fruit pulps and in all of them it came out well, not dirtying the base and sealing the package.
The sealing is strong very clever.

I love this vacuum sealer. It's been great for buying large packages of meat and marinating them. The vacuum sealer helps the meat absorb more of the flavor quicker.

The portable feature is great too since I am out of outlets on my kitchen counter. I charged it up and probably sealed 20 items before needing a recharge which I thought was really good.

The included bags work great. I haven't tried the vacuum hose yet since I don't have any containers for it. I'll have to report back later once I get some to play with.

I was not happy with the product and returned it. At first, I love the compact size of it, but it's super hard to use compared to the name brand. You have to lay the bag perfectly and leave a lot of empty space between the food and the machine. Otherwise, it won't stop the vacuum process and won't seal. I felt it's wasting my storage bags as these can be expensive in the long term.
