Will this unit seer burgers, steskm etc?

Answer: Yes, by setting the temp at 450 you get a nice seer.

Answer: Yes it will but is best used at lower temps for smoking.

Answer: I believe so

Does this new model's lid let u to just keep it opened staying straight up (maybe with a hook) without having to flip it all the way back?

This grill is no longer on gmgs website. has it been discontinued?

Answer: They Davy Crockett has been replaced with the Trek.

Will the pizza oven attachment fit?

Answer: Yes the small GMG oven will fit, GMG-4108.

does it have a pellet dump to easily change pellets??

Answer: It does not. I have a small shop vac just for that. Works fast about 2 min.

Answer: Yes comes with meat probe. And cooking area 17-1/2 X 12-1/2

Answer: The smoke stack is removable, it is held on by 3 bolts.

Answer: No but it will do a turkey Breast. It is portable and smaller.

Answer: I like to use greenmountain pellets or traeger pellets

Answer: I have used both the GMG brand and the Trager brand. Just make sure they are cooking and have no wax or chemicals in them.

Answer: Product comes with a 3 year warranty from GMG.

Answer: yes available on Amazon.

Answer: It can operate from a 12 volt battery, comes with clamps to hook up to 12v auto type battery, or has converter to plug into 120 outlet

Says 12 volt power? How long can a typical 12 vt battery last?

Answer: There are to many veritables. I can run mine on 2 6 volt deep cycle batteries for over six hours.

Can a second upper grill shelf be added inside the grill?

Answer: No

Teton Copes : Poor quality

Used this smoker once and it worked okay, other than you need to cook twice as long as their cookbook suggests. And, there were problems with the power cord disconnecting if you touch or move it. Tried to use it today and again, the power cord would not stay connected. Once I got it to stay together, the controls wouldn’t work. I kept getting errors and would have to restart and then the control panel temp gauge was erratic. The thing would crank pellets through and make lots of smoke for like 10 minutes and would then quit. Finally gave up and put the chicken in the oven. Anyone want to buy a GMG cheap?

B2 : Keeps set temperature better.

Works much better than other smokers we have tried. Keeps set temperature unlike other brands. WiFi is nice to monitor temperatures from inside house.
