Will these jigheads hold up against anything over 8 pounds

Answer: I would say yes but there's alot of factors to consider. I have caught 40lb fish with a small Aberdeen hook but I had room to play the drag. If you're in a river and a monster hits with no choice but to lock down and pull no hook is going to hold up. Overall I like the jighead specialy the assortment of hard to find weights like 1/ 120oz. Good luck and a good buy.

I just got these in and they won't even hook my finger (Top layer), should I be worried about them hooking the fish? Primarily trout.

Just what I was looking for! This is the first time I have found them in quantity!

I like the paint colors. The jig heads are well painted with no clogged eyes. For the 1/32 and 1/64 I would expect a lighter wire hook, but these hooks are pretty heavy for the size. Hooks are sticky sharp but I feel I need to put a little bit more into the hook set for that larger diameter. It also makes it near impossible to pinch the barb with standard pliers if you need to. I’ve had to use a dremel to get them barbless if I needed to.
