How to use Vanten vacuum sealer machine?

Vacuum Seal:

1. Tear off the blue protective film and the film on the button

2. Take out the power cord from the back of the machine

3. Press the cover lock to open the machine

4. Put the vacuum sealer bag into the vacuum chamber

5. Choose Mode, DRY for dry food and SOFT/WET for wet food, and then click VAC SEAL will automatically vac seal

My wife has just have a new born. To keep some food especially like seafood fresh, I bought this vacuum sealer machine. It is very easy to operate. I compared the function of button "VAC SEAL" and "MANUAL", and recommended to use "VAC SEAL", for which the vacuum effects are better.

I use a machine for many things. One is I buy in bulk so need to freeze portion sizes of meats for later use. I have tried the plastic and foil etc and it always gets frost-burned. This does not . It provides a secure seal and stays quite some time in a freezer and stays fresh and good. I also use it for snacks. I am keto so can't just stop anywhere and grab a snack. I buy larger containers and make my snack bags for when I am on the go. It only come with a few bags but you can buy the rolls or presasembled bags anywhere. They are not cheap but its waht you need and worth in the long run.

Is smaller and lighter than the sealer it replaced. Does not seem to have as much suction. My biggest disappointment is that the vendor does not sell replacement gaskets for the unit. Worn gaskets is the reason my old sealer quit working. That manufacturer also did not offer repair parts. Something to think about before you buy a sealer.
