I own a heavy wait sealer as well. And for the money this little thing is neat. Gets really hot fast so don't melt your bags!!!!!! Only reason I only give it 4...because it gets too hot and hard to not burn a small hole.

does not seal very easily. i could not get it to seal anything completely. i was not happy with the purchase. The only reason i didn’t return it was because it was so cheap. wasn’t worth the time and effort. I just threw it in the trash.

It takes a second to get the hang of it, but it's really nifty to have when you need to seal something in a hurry. Nice to take with you if you go on a trip and need to seal up snacks. Pretty easy to use overall (see video) Have had a couple of times where the heated sealing side cut through the bag, but it still sealed either side of the cut. I like that it has a removable hook to hang it up, but I do wish it was magnetic sonic could just stick it on the fridge. Overall, I like it!

This product sucks. It doesn't seal very well and I contacted manufacturer about it. They mentioned that they would send a "new" and "improved" version but I have yet to receive that version. Also, they wanted me to write up a bunch of good to positive reviews about the product but what could I write as the product doesn't even seal as it is supposed to.

It takes a few tries to get used to the sealer. It takes me two passes to get a decent seal. The last pass is to only get the remaining one inch or so in the opposite direction. Doesn't seem to overly burn the plastic so I didn't notice a smell. For home it's great. Does it get a better seal than a chip clip? Yes, if the bag is new and doesn't get a lot of folds, the sealer probably tighter than a chip clip. Does it get an air tight seal? With practice probably, but not as good as a manufacturer seal.

The sealer definitely works but it's inconsistent with how well the seal holds up. On thicker bags, you may need to hold the plates down longer and very, very slowly slide across. Sometimes I had to do a few passes to get a complete seal. I like that it has a cover/protective lock to keep the plates from touching when not in use. The cutter tool is also useful for those hard to open bags. Overall this is a good choice if you've been looking for a bag sealer.

The mini bag sealer was difficult to use. Even thought it was supposed to be simple as holding down one end to heat up in 1 minute and sliding the product through the sealer. My product did not want to heating up and when I finally did……the mini bag sealer would seal half way. I wouldn’t recommend tis product to anybody.
