What size hooks are on the jig and can I put the same size hooks on the other side without hooking each other

Answer: The hook size is probably a 5/0 or 6/0. You can certainly put hooks of the same size on the bottom, but you'll need shorter line on the assist hooks, or they'll catch the front hooks. It's not the size of the hook that matters but the length of the cord. The ones that come with this jig are pretty long.
