There were no instructions in my box, but it was still fairly easy to figure out. I used to deal chips and cereal bags. I found that if you press too hard, the bag tends to rip. If you don't press hard enough the bags don't seal all the way. Part of the sealing process may be because it was the cheap chips, but I can't be sure. It's still a work in progress for me to obtain the perfect amount of pressure to apply to get the right seal. Love the concept and love that it has magnets on the back so you can put it on the fridge for easy access and to save drawer space. Would've liked to have gotten a red one, but this turquoise was the only option when I bought mine.

I bought this sealer after seeing it on YouTube. It was fun trying it out on a bunch of bags, but I could not manage to get the bags sealed in one straight movement—could be user error. The plastic would usually bunch when sliding the sealer, so the seal would have gaps. Plus, you need to recut the bag for each use (there is a retractable blade on the sealer).

When I first opened the Amazon box, I was totally disappointed. The product came in a very cheap box with no advertising. This was to be a gift and my first impression was it looked VERY cheap!!! When the person who I gave the gift to opened the box, the instructions was in Chinese and there was NO translation to English. We finally figured out how to put in the batteries and tried to get it to work. It does NOT seal as described in the description on Amazon!!! Sometimes it gets so hot that it melts the bag and sometimes it does not seal at all. I am VERY disappointed in the product and was embarrassed to give it as a give!!! My advise to anyone wanting a sealer is to go to a different product. This one appears not to work and there is NO instructions to describe how to use it! BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT!!!!!
